Course its fixed, you only see the show part not the judging that goes on in the day, and Weider says who wins, not the judges IMO, after all its his federation and his show and his front man that go to the public, so he picks a police officer - maybe the public will accept hardcore bbing with a cop at the top?
My opinions anyway.

well, the 2001 olympia could of gone either way imo....I choose Jay because of his better midsection and condiotioning but his back was not even close.
I wouldn't say they are fixed but if Ronnie and his competitor were equals on stage they would always choose Ronnie because he is the reigning Mr Olympia.
The 2005 Olympia wasn't fixed though, thats for sure....Ronnie was the best on stage

Yes and no if someone is gonna dethrow the current mr o then he has to completely blow him out the water otherwise if he’s a little off he still get the win. I think the judges want to see consistency just cuz they look good one year they don’t want to give the title If u don’t seem to keep that shape

No, and that includes the 1980 Olympia. It’s only bodybuilding. **** isn’t even that serious. Bodybuilding is not a sport. It’s a glorified beauty contest and nothing more. Most people on the street won’t know who mr Olympia is. It only appeals to a minority.
No judge has ever come forward and said the contests are fixed. Not one. Only the losers like Mentzer kept on bitching about politics in bodybuilding. What politics? It’s only bodybuilding that most people don’t even care about.
