any bodybuilders with PE?

Is there any proffesional that is known to have PE? that would surely motivate me much.
also, is there anyone here with a great body and a mild/moderate PE?

go to pectusinfo.com and search for it there, ive seen a few pics of bbers with PE in a few threads. I also have PE, and im sure you know how much it sucks. I have been seriously considering getting surgery and maybe starting the process soon by talking to my doctor, itll be a long road and i dont even know if insurance will cover it. anyway if you have any more questions or just want to talk PM me. good luck bro and hang in there

pectus excavatum - chest wall deformity, fairly common to varying degrees. It is potentially surgically correctable.

yeah man it sucks as hell, but do you have mild/moderate/or severe PE?

my chest doesnt look good if that is what you are asking lol... i mean i have a hole in my chest, how good could it possibly look lol...anyway if it wasnt there then my chest would look really good b/c ive built up a good amount of muscle so thats why im trying to get surgery.

i have the opposite, one of my right ribs that is connected to the sternum sticks out.

thats what I want to see, a muscled body with pectus, so I just know what to expect when i build up mine

well i wouldnt say i have a muscled body lol so im probably not going to be the best example since i only weigh 165. but i can basically tell you that if you have PE, building up the pecs is going to make it look worse b/c your pecs will rise up and make the whole appear deeper.

so its better if I just try to muscle my chest right? cause if my chest gets bigger the hole will kinda get smaller (cause in the middle of my chest its kinda small

not really sure what you mean by muscle your chest. how your chest will look after youve built up muscle really depends on how it looks now. if its mild then it would look a lot better than someone who built up muscle with moderate to severe.

It can be treated. When i went to the doctor he said that it can not be treated but if i built up a bigger chest it would hide it and not be noticable (reason why i started body building lol) but i found this site and you can get braces for it.

DUDE, it isnt that bad at all! seriously man i think if you developed your pecs you would have a great chest shape...

well it might look mild-moderate, but im so skinny and that also stands out.
and you can also see that in the middle of my tits (lol) there are no mucles, its so flattered.
so if id start pulling weights and stuff, would this damn chest come out a little?

its mild if even that. mine looks a lot worse than that, you are lucky. just start lifting and it might fill in. consider yourself lucky compared to many other PE sufferers. Many people have never even heard of PE much less know what it does to the sufferers life. anyway good luck
