Is it normal to feel sore after every workout?
I've been working out for a while now, and I warm up with a light set and stretch before lifting heavy, but I always feel sore the day after I lift. The soreness usually goes away in 2-3 days.
My friends who lift seriously say they stopped getting sore pretty much after the first month, unless they do drop sets or something extreme. Is it normal to feel sore every time?

do you do alot of focus on negatives? for example do you bring the weight down really slow if you do bench press?
the only time I am ever sore after workout is when I put more emphasis on the negative part of the exercise.. in that case yes it is pretty normal if you really are pushing yourself in the gym.
