So how does PS3 win over 360 currently? I'm not a PS3 hater, I'm a salesman who wants to make the most profit. I just can't compare the two, I've had both about the same amount of time and I can't see PS3 ever being better than 360. Xbox Live is just too damn well done. PS3s Home looks like a version of the sims and nothing I'd be interested in.
On the brighter side of Sony I was always a blu-ray fanSo close to 10k, green is my favorite color nom saiyan?

Well the PS3 is 10 million sold right now, 4 months sooner than the 360 did it. Not only that the total dollar amount spent on the PS3 is more than the 360. Plenty of exclusives coming out this year for the PS3 (or soon); Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, God of War, to name a few. Some blu-ray players are still around $400, might as well buy a PS3 instead since it plays blu-ray discs and can be updated. Way less of a failure rate than the 360. Umm there is more but that should get you started.

Good job sony man... does that make the games more fun? Do you have better time playing it?
Console wars are completely stupid. It depends on which kind of games you like. If you like fun games, you buy a 360. If you want a Blu-Ray player with no fun games, you buy a PS3. (sea what I did there?)
The problem with people like the OP saying 'oh, the PS3 doesn't have many good games now but watch, this year, they have exclusives!' forget one thing: they're still making more and more 360 exclusive games, too. The production lines didn't stop. Time doesn't stop. Look, they just announced Gears of War 2 is coming out in November, one of the fastest selling games of all time. Xbox 360 exclusive, by the way.
Back to Blu-Ray, If you want HD-quality picture at a 10th of the price, buy an upconverting DVD player, an HDMI cable, and a bunch of blank DVDs. Torrents ftw. Or even just regular DVDs. Blu-Ray is a good invention... 5 years down the road. Until movies get that massive in size and resolution, we don't need it. It's just a waste of money. I'm not buying one until BR burners are like 50$ and players are about the same price. DVD ftw.
PS: The 360 doesn't have a built-in HD-DVD player, I don't see what you PS3 fanbois are getting so excited about HD-DVD failing. MS had a small investment, but it was really just a grudge match to make Sony waste more money. They probably succeeded.
The Xbox 360 is winning. But I don't care. As long as Live is up, I can play against some people, and the games keep coming, PS3s can be selling out. Big ****ing deal.
I don't care about the Blu-Ray/HD-DVD thing either. I wasn't stupid enough to buy one of them. See, for two product lines to exist together, they both have to offer different features for complete different audiences. Like the Wii, or Apple vs PCs.Last edited by OctavianCXVII; 02-20-2008 at 01:46 PM.

Do you realize how High Definition works at all? You can't just upconvert a ****ing DVD and expect to get HD quality picture. All it does is scale the 480i picture to be shown properly on a 720P or 1080P or what have you 16:9 aspect ratio HDTV. Not only that DVD does not have lossless audio (basically High Definition sound), any idea what the hell that is? Why don't you do some damn research before you start saying DVD is just as good as HD, moron.

Not only have I researched it but I have a decent setup of my own. I was on a decent DVD setup for years and then recently decided it was time to upgrade. Huge difference. Planet Earth is amazing. It doesn't have the lossless audio or 7.1 surround with cool special effects but the picture is amazing. Beats any of my DVDs I've played that were upconverted.
