my mom thinks coconuts are nature's miracle...
I believe the saturated fats are mcts, which are the same kind of fats that are put into cytosport muscle milk...supposedly they're used for muscle energy instead of fat storage.
My mom has a couple books claiming coconuts heal all this random bull****, I dunno' though...just something else to eat in my book.

I just answered a post about coconuts a few hours ago. Coconut milk is one of the few foods that are very high in MCT's (medium chain tryglycerides). Coconut milk is used in baby formulas and given to hospital patients that must be forced fed or must recover from a severe accident. The MCT's in the milk are very quickly digested by the body and passed on to the liver. Here, they are quickly broken down to provide a quite significant amount of energy. Coconut milk also has exceptional healing properties (making it good for building muscle). MCT's are thought more of like carbohydrates rather than fats in the way they are used by the body.
Don't hate me lil' bitch......just cause I'm bigger than you, more intimidating than you....I'll run you over like a freight train, I'm sick in da brain, don't feel no pain so ya'll betta remember my name!
