    huge weight loss on keto...wtf?

    hey guys, so this is my first week on keto and i just went on the scale right after i woke up...i lost 4-5lbs this week eating my maintenance cals! is this a diet that just requires a higher uptake in order to cut properly or did i just lose a ton of water weight (something i hear which happens on this diet at first)?

    Yes, you do lose water, but it's also possible to lose weight eating at maintenance, at least for a while. Enjoy it.

    yeah u drop like 5pounds of water and glucose retention. After my carb up daty i gain a pound and it goes away after my first workout.
