Hip width stance is better,flare ur toes out if u want to stabilize more,and use ur heels for the movement,and in bent postion keep ur knees in same direction of toes.

i'm a fan of just off shoulder width. legs very close together makes it hard to take the strain off of your knees back plus gives you less of a solid base to lift from. gotta push yourself but make it as comfortable as you can to help prevent injuries

For me, shoulder width is good, but you need to experiment with stance to get better leverage.
