I feel sorry for the two actors in the movie Brokeback mountain?

Just think about it those two poor guys end up swapping spit with each other and looking sheepish every time the camera went on them at the Oscars. Okay sheepish wasn't a good word, I don't want to knock sheep, but looking embarrassed because each time the camera went on them it was like shouting out hey, " Here the are the two guys that were kissing each other in the movie".

Any way these two guys are cursed for the rest of their life as the two guys who played tonsil hockey with each other for 90 minutes and got nothing for it.

No Oscar, No best actor...No nothing ha ha ha

So you are saying you would not kiss a guy for money and fame? Those guys are two of the best actors in world. I know the theme of the movie is ghey, but the acting was world class.

I'm guessing that their next movies will have way more sex scenes with girls than most movies, just to build up their hetero street cred.

I'm pretty sure starring in a movie that received eight Academy Award nominations isn't going to prove to be useless in their careers. Their roles in Brokeback pretty much put them on the map...

It would finish my career cuz I'd have retired 6 times over. Those two guys got like 12 million a piece for that film, how is that himiliating? Not to mention if you play a gay cowboy...you're gonna get laid! Every girl prolly fell in love with them for that role.

I am just curious but were did you hear that figure? I am not saying it is not true; it just seems very high for those two actors. I could see them getting that film now though.

They sure are stupid for doing that. I mean, they both got Oscar nominations, beautiful girlfriends, about 20 million each for the movie, plus the offers for more roles and more moneyu due to the nominations drawing power...

    I feel bad for them...

And to all the hypocrites who "hate" the movie becuase of the gay overtones, you are probably the same ones who were punching your 4 inch tweeter to Neve Campbell and Denise Richards in "Wild Things" and thought it was "So cool"

    Bingo the whole entire film cost;

Brokeback Mountain cost about U.S.$14 million to produce, excluding its advertising budget.[1]

    EDIT
    Source
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brokeback_Mountain

    EDIT
and the answer to the million dollar question is

$3 million each they got paid for the movie.

Dude, A Knight's Tale, Patriot, The Order, there's a list of others, he has quite the resume, not to mention Jake Gyllenhall was paid a ****load for Jarhead so I'm sure all his movies are gonna pay what Jarhead paid. From that wikipedia site, that culd be a good figure, so they both made 6 million then, i'm sure the movie itself wasn't too expensive to make. It was just a couple horses and some open land.

Go to box office mojo and you can look up any movie, what it cost to make and what it made.

IMO it doesn't take all that much good acting to convince me that Heath Ledger is gay
