    Finally...progress. Did my weight in today and came in at 169.5 lbs. A 3 lbs. loss from last week. Definitely happy with the results for this week. I really needed it. I still have a ways to go however, I know I have to still lose close to 10 pounds to be approximately at 12% bf. And realistically, I don't think I will be able to reach my target by end of Jan. I technically have 4 weeks left in the cut, and have at the least about 8 pounds to lose. But I won't focus on that right now. Right now my focus is continuous progress. My stomach fat is getting much more looser and jiggly so I know it should start shedding in these next couple weeks further. Overall my diet is good with my weekly cheat meal. I do feel hungry at times, but it's manageable. I might kick up the cardio freqency towards the end of Jan just to give another kick start of weight loss. But man I lost a decent amount so far and it just shows how much weight I really gained. So happy to be back on track.

    Solid progress this week, another 1.5 lbs lost. I am feeling good momentum with my diet and exercise overall. I have controlled my portion sizes, and kept up the intensity in the cardio and HIIT sessions. I did do a BF% test yesterday and came in at 14%. I think 12% would be a good look and feel for me, so I really need to get to low 160's to be there. I really only have less than 3 weeks left in my cut, and it's not realistic to lose 8 pounds in 3 weeks. I think if I can get down to 163 by end of Jan that is solid and I can evaluate from there if I want to continue the cut. I definitely feel like I need to lose more as much stomach still has fat that I need to shed away, so I am far from over as far as my mental state with this cut.

    Continued progress this past week with a 1 lb loss from last week, bringing me down to 167. I said I would end the cut at end of Jan, but I am going to at minimum go for another 2 weeks from now. I really think I need probably 3-4 more weeks to really get to my target, but for now will still keep it to 2 weeks. I am overall happy with the loss thus far but definitely need a little bit more to feel my best. Portion sizes in my meals have been very lean and clean, so diet has been pretty good.

    As you may have noticed I didn't update my log last week as I had a personal family emergency that we were dealing with, and I was not able to workout or eat proper meals all week, so it was basically a wash. I resumed my diet this past Monday. I did my weigh in today, and came in the same at 167 lbs. That was expected since I did not continue my progress. I am going to take it week by week now until I feel like I achieved my goals. I am thinking of doing another 2 weeks, but I will feel it out. I think if I can even get to 163 lbs that would be enough, so 2 weeks seems viable.

    So did my weekly weigh in today. Great news as I came in at 163 lbs today. A 4 lbs loss from last week. I guess my body just had to kick back in gear. So overall I am very pleased with the results. I am going to do 1 more week of cutting, and ending it sometime next week after my weigh in. I hope whatever I can lose I can keep off. I really like the disipline and goal oriented aspect of cutting, it keeps me focused overall as a person.

    So today is/was supposed to be my last weigh in for this years cut. I came in at 163 lbs. A bit dissappointed that I didn't lose anything this week, but my stomach fat feels loose, and I think it's ready to go soon. I am going to stick to the diet until Friday and do another weigh in at that time, the 2 days may be enough to shed a bit more. I probably should do even one more week, but at this point I am still very happy with the results of losing about 14 pounds.

    Another year gone and time for a cutting kick off. I wasn't feeling up for a cut in January like I usually do. I spent the last year eating clean for the week and I did cheat meals Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (3 per week). It worked out pretty well for the most part. The last 2 months I was vacationing and I think I gained more weight from that alone. I weighed in yesterday at 174 lbs. I will have about 7 weeks available for the cut as I will be time boxed this year due to Ramadan.

    Ideally my target weight would be 163 lbs, however not sure if that will be achievable in 7 weeks. But irrespective will try my best. I will be doing cardio 3 days a week (soccer 1 day, HIT bootcamp 1-2 days, and ellyptical). I'll also be doing weight training 3 days a week. I've also actually been slacking for the last 2 months and have not done weight training. So it will be good to get back on a consistant schedule.

    Quick weekly update. Lost 1 lb this week, which is lower than what I would have liked. But it’s progress. I did one cheat meal and another on Sunday due to super bowl. I don’t think it effected it that much but who knows. I’ll be sticking to one cheat meal though going forward. Next weeks goal is another pound to lose

    Quick update weighed in at 172 yesterday. No change but I am seeing visual improvements. Will continue training and goal is 2 lbs for next week

    So dissapointing weigh in today. Came in at 172 lbs once again. One difference though is I didn't use the same digital scale as usual. So there could be some discrepencies. I also did my cheat meal on Sunday vs Saturday. Either way I am still sticking to the course. I do feel like my stomach is loosening up, and arms are leaning up, so it's not all bad news. Will keep things relatively the same this week but probably will kick up the cardio a knotch. I also have been having extra yogurt as snacks when I am hungry, so will eliminate that this week.

    Delayed update today. Last week I wasn't able to access a reliable scale that I normally use so I wasn't able to do my weekly weigh in. So it's been 2 weeks since I've done an updated. Today weighed in at 167 lbs. That is 5 lbs in 2 weeks, so pretty good progress. I've been strict with my diet and good with my exersise routine. I finally got the momentum I needed. I have a little over 2 weeks left in this years cut and I hope I can get down to at least 165 lbs by the end of it. I would like to be able to do even longer, but I'll be fasting due to Ramadan next month so it won't be feasable to continue.

    Unhappy

    Yesterday I missed my weigh in and workout because I wasn’t feeling very well and needed to rest. Today I did do a weigh in during the day and actually came in at 164 lbs. Normally however I have been doing weigh ins at the end of the night. So t stay consistent I did that and weighed in at 166 lbs. so at least some progress.

    I have one more official weigh in before my cut comes to an end this year, and I will target 165 to wrap it up. I’d like more time but Ramadan is coming up fast.

    So my last weigh in of thisnyewrs cut I did today (a day late), came in at 164.5 lbs. pretty satisfying as I was close to reaching my goal. I am somewhat forced to end my cut due to Ramadan coming up in a few days. I would normally continue the cut for another 1-2 weeks just to get down a bit lower. But still happy with the progress.
