Finally...progress. Did my weight in today and came in at 169.5 lbs. A 3 lbs. loss from last week. Definitely happy with the results for this week. I really needed it. I still have a ways to go however, I know I have to still lose close to 10 pounds to be approximately at 12% bf. And realistically, I don't think I will be able to reach my target by end of Jan. I technically have 4 weeks left in the cut, and have at the least about 8 pounds to lose. But I won't focus on that right now. Right now my focus is continuous progress. My stomach fat is getting much more looser and jiggly so I know it should start shedding in these next couple weeks further. Overall my diet is good with my weekly cheat meal. I do feel hungry at times, but it's manageable. I might kick up the cardio freqency towards the end of Jan just to give another kick start of weight loss. But man I lost a decent amount so far and it just shows how much weight I really gained. So happy to be back on track.

Solid progress this week, another 1.5 lbs lost. I am feeling good momentum with my diet and exercise overall. I have controlled my portion sizes, and kept up the intensity in the cardio and HIIT sessions. I did do a BF% test yesterday and came in at 14%. I think 12% would be a good look and feel for me, so I really need to get to low 160's to be there. I really only have less than 3 weeks left in my cut, and it's not realistic to lose 8 pounds in 3 weeks. I think if I can get down to 163 by end of Jan that is solid and I can evaluate from there if I want to continue the cut. I definitely feel like I need to lose more as much stomach still has fat that I need to shed away, so I am far from over as far as my mental state with this cut.

Continued progress this past week with a 1 lb loss from last week, bringing me down to 167. I said I would end the cut at end of Jan, but I am going to at minimum go for another 2 weeks from now. I really think I need probably 3-4 more weeks to really get to my target, but for now will still keep it to 2 weeks. I am overall happy with the loss thus far but definitely need a little bit more to feel my best. Portion sizes in my meals have been very lean and clean, so diet has been pretty good.

As you may have noticed I didn't update my log last week as I had a personal family emergency that we were dealing with, and I was not able to workout or eat proper meals all week, so it was basically a wash. I resumed my diet this past Monday. I did my weigh in today, and came in the same at 167 lbs. That was expected since I did not continue my progress. I am going to take it week by week now until I feel like I achieved my goals. I am thinking of doing another 2 weeks, but I will feel it out. I think if I can even get to 163 lbs that would be enough, so 2 weeks seems viable.

So did my weekly weigh in today. Great news as I came in at 163 lbs today. A 4 lbs loss from last week. I guess my body just had to kick back in gear. So overall I am very pleased with the results. I am going to do 1 more week of cutting, and ending it sometime next week after my weigh in. I hope whatever I can lose I can keep off. I really like the disipline and goal oriented aspect of cutting, it keeps me focused overall as a person.

So today is/was supposed to be my last weigh in for this years cut. I came in at 163 lbs. A bit dissappointed that I didn't lose anything this week, but my stomach fat feels loose, and I think it's ready to go soon. I am going to stick to the diet until Friday and do another weigh in at that time, the 2 days may be enough to shed a bit more. I probably should do even one more week, but at this point I am still very happy with the results of losing about 14 pounds.
