How Did I feel?
I felt great. I felt strong and I looked good. I looked bigger in the mirror after my lift, which is a major plus to me. Had an incredible pump by the time I was on my second set of concentration curls. This stuff must be kicking in in terms of the pumps department.

Pretty crappy and I'm getting down on myself or giving up with the Mass FX. My strength on my bench hasn't gone up at all nor has my weight. I look better, which is great, but my major goal of gaining weight is not being reached. I'm not going to blame it all on the Mass FX because being a college student I have to eat what's served to me in the dorms and I only eat 3-4x a day. Hopefully, this stuff starts to really kick in soon or I may be a non-responder, which happens sometimes or maybe I needed to stack it with Hyperdrol X2 to see the full effect.

GREAT  !!! This workout was brutal and exhausting and we all know those are the best ones. I was gasping for air, but pushing through it. It was a great workout. I think I might stick with the 5x5 for a few weeks. I'm going to be in a lot of pain tomorrow. Also, I think I might up the dose to 6 a day like Tim suggested. Maybe that will make more of a difference.

Actually I'm going to do the HST Full Body training program. Another AX guy (Sinner) told me about it and it looks awesome. I usually do better with full body workouts anyway (gained 20 pounds last year with full body workouts). You can read about it here:

How Did I feel?
This new workout is BRUTAL, but in a good way. The last time I was actually physically exhausted from lifting was when we had lifting during the wrestling season and did 10 sets of exercises, ran a mile, another 10 sets, another mile. I even puked after the workout today. I ran to the lockeroom and blah! This workout is going to be tough but promising.
I only thing I hate about it is you need to build up to your max so that means lifting really light weights at first and everyone in the gym is looking at you like you're a puss in boots , but it really gets tough because you're doing these light weights 2x15.
As for the Mass FX, the only thing I could feel from it was the pumps again. Nothing else. Like I said before, I think for this stuff to have really kicked in my workout needed to be changed at the beginning of the cycle for my body to feel the full effect. I'm not go as far as to say the Mass FX doesn't work because there are people who respond to it, but I'm not really one of them because my workouts and my diet hasn't been where it needs to be. I feel the pumps, but nothing much more except for my mind running wild and not getting sleep if I take it at night. I will try this product again in the future, but not solo because I didn't feel much; I will stack it with Hyperdrol X2.
Read about the new workout here: http://www.hypertrophy-specific.com/hst_index.html It's definitely worth a try if you find youself not making any progress like I did.Last edited by NastyNally; 03-31-2008 at 02:47 PM.

Yea I had been on my routine of 4x6 when I started the Mass FX, but it seems the 4x6 workout really wasn't working for me or more importantly single body part days don't work for me; only full body workouts do. The key is to start a successful routine that works for you.
Too bad I didn't know about this HST workout before the Mass FX cycle. Had it not been for Sinner I wouldn't have known about this new workout so I am very grateful for that. I only have a few days left, but once I'm done I'll post pictures as well as my final review.

How Did I feel?
It was a good workout. It was a nice quick workout even though full body workouts are usually long and exhausting, but I didn't lolly gag. I got there and did what I needed to do and got out. I'm still feeling Monday's workout so this new routine is obviously working. My final review as well as pictures will be posted tomorrow because tomorrow will be when I finish the Mass FX.Last edited by NastyNally; 04-02-2008 at 10:58 PM.

Mass FX MAX STRENGTH Final Review
I first of all would like to thank Anabolic Xtreme and it’s reps for choosing me to be a tester. My hat goes off to you guys. You guys were there for me from the beginning and right until the end offering insight and expertise in every angle of my training from my workout routine to my diet. This says a lot not only about a company, but about a person. There are people out there who aren’t the same in their approach as a company rep and that’s a shame, but I’m not going to name names. I hold no biases in my logs. Yes, some people do because they feel obligated to do so after being sponsored by a company to test a product but I do not.
Now onto the review, this log started off with a bang, but after getting sick I was forced to stop it for 2 weeks. At first I was feeling the increase in aggression and pumps after a few days, but like I said was forced to stop because I was on numerous medicines. After starting again, I wasn’t really feeling that aggression anymore. I do know that without adequate water intake this product will you give you quite a headache (the Forslean) and if taken close to bedtime you will have sleepless nights. This is where I really noticed the alpha male mentality because I would take it about an hour or two before bed on an empty stomach and couldn’t sleep because my mind was racing, thinking about a thousand different things. I didn’t feel the alpha mentality during my workouts though. Another key indicator the product was working was the pump I was getting on some of my arm days. I say some because the pump was consistent with my workouts it was only once in a while. In addition, I also noticed some strength increases during this log, which is a major plus to me. For example, my Deadlift max went up about 10+ pounds as well as weights in different areas such as Incline DB Curls, Shrugs, and DB Rows. It is in the strength department that this product shines. My major goal of this log and of future logs is to gain weight. While this product didn’t deliver in that area, it did deliver in aggression at first, but mainly in strength.
I’m not going to blame the lack of weight gain on the Mass FX alone because, as I said before, I don’t think my workout routine was the best (4x6 M, T, TH, F different body parts). Had I started the Hypertropy-Specific-Training or another full body workout earlier I probably would have seen better results. Although, I did eat as much as I could while in the dorms and over the Spring Break, but didn’t really gain much weight. Keep in mind though; my metabolism is like that of The Flash so it is very hard for me to gain weight. Also, being 20 years old, my test levels are already pretty high, but I put in my application anyway hoping to see some difference in my training and more importantly in my size since I am bulking, but didn’t much of that besides pump and strength.
Now, onto the important question: Will I try Mass FX Maximum Strength again? It depends. My goal is to get bigger and this product didn’t deliver in that area. If in the future, I accomplish my goal of getting bigger and am focused on strength I will definitely use this product again. When I’m a little bit older I think I’ll try it in combination with Hyperdrol X2 or even 3 AD. Mass FX was designed to be stacked with Hyperdrol so it would obviously be better to take them together than solo. Although some people see results with either solo, I am not one of them. Will I recommend it to others? Yes, I had increases in strength, pumps, and aggression, which are all things that this product promises. The weight gain did not come though, but who is to say it won’t come for another person? Like I said, everyone is different and different things work for different people. Once again, through this story of a final review, I want to thank you AX guys for being there along my journey every step of the way.
Summary of what the product promises:
Immediate Strength Gains: 9/10 - I did feel this. My lifts went up. I wouldn't say immediate, but I did gain stength throughout this product.
Extreme Muscle Mass: 3/10 - I didn't gain any noticeable weight at all during this product. If any, I gained 1 pound, but lost it the next day. Once again nothing to brag about.
Aggression: 5/10 - in the beginning of this log the aggression was definitely there, but it went away after I took my 2 week break.
Alpha Male Mentality: 4/10 - I didn't feel this much of all throughout the log. The only time I knew it was working was at night when I couldn't get to sleep. Usually I was really tired when I started my workouts, which put a damper on my workout.
Pumps: 7/10 - I got them once in a while, but nothing to write home about. Although when I did get them they were pretty intense. It depended on the workout.Last edited by NastyNally; 04-02-2008 at 11:29 PM.
