    pull up bar straps...any good?

    anyone here use straps you can attactch to a pull up bar to to hanging leg raises and lower ab workouts..are they any good?

    you mean ab straps? good for doing lat shrugs, going to be useless for pullups/chins

    I know exactly what you're talking about and I tried the straps out last week and was shocked at how hard I could hit my abs using them. If you use good form (no swinging with slow, controlled leg raises) its a great way to shock those lower abs because you have to use them to stabilize all of your weight as you hang.

    get the thick ab straps, not the thin ones. the thin ones hurt like hell

    and yes, theses are outstanding for hitting abs, especially because you have to use core strength to keep yourself from swinging as you do your leg raises..
