    Exclamation is it true about how much protein your body can absorb per meal

    my friend on my wrestlign team told me that your body per meal can only absorb 27-30 G's of protein, is this true?

    if bodybuilding was that simple, we would all be huge and ripped.

    i've heard probably 5 different things varying from 20-30g per meal, 40-50g per meal, unlimited, to .8 g/bodyweight divided by total number of meals.

    just test it out, i think you will find that about 1g per pound of bodyweight divided by the number of meals you eat is decent

    Well all I know is that I consume alot of protein in each meal atleast 30-40grams and normally at the end of my day 50-60grams.

    I find it works but it may be an overload on my kidneys.

    Diets high in protein are fine as long as you make sure you get enough water in.

    1-2 gallons a day should do it.

    Yeah I drink atleast 4Liters(a bit more then 1 gallon) a day of just water.
