how many miles bikein on a exersice bike is about equal to 1 mile jogging? lets say the pace is about 15mph on the exersice bike... or 20mph....
also, i want to get my endurance up ya know, be able to run a mile good, well i seen alot of people who lift run a mile everyday or every other day, even if their not cuttin, just to keep endurance up and etc... well what could i do for better endurance so i can move around better? like runnin wise, so i can last longer, and not run out of breath, ever since i got bigger, (im not fat) my endurance has gone down a lot, i used to be up and on the go all the time, moveing around and stuff, now i always run out of breath real quick, and it sucks. any suggestions? i still wanna lift, but i want to get some endurance and maintain it, like be in shape. (shape endurance wise)

well ok first, the bike helps but not entirely with running a mile, running is a lot different then riding a bike in my opinion. I've been running for probably about 5 months 4-5 times a week and I've just gotten up to about being about to run 5 miles or so when I want, so the best way to build up endurance for running is to well...Go outside and run!

Cross-Training is important for an all around good cardiovascular system. Bike/Run/Swim play your favorite sport/s at high intensity several times a week. I took a summer off (running) and my first few runs hurt bead, but being so young and resiliant I found after about 30km(over about a week) my body got back into it and I was ready to roll.

walking and running
basically start low... easy... runnin at an easy pace, and then intestify it up a lil every other day... i mean if it possible for u.. run around the block or to the store.. and if u can't llast long just take a breather and then run again... if u want a betta mile time u should have a running base... more endurance first of all... try takin it easy.. research and other stuff... and i think it about 6-7miles equal to 1 mile running but i might be wrong tho.. have fun.. running more and everyday if possible..
