Yes from before and No, not anymore.
After 1 month, I cleaned out the fridge and tossed all the nasty ****.
After 2 months, I started showing them healthy recipes
After 6 months they are asking me for nutrition advice on many different levels and eat whole grains, soymilk, lean meats, veggies and fruits as their staple.
Educate your roommates. You owe it to society.

Nagging doesn't work on lazy sacks of ****.
Lead by example. Treat exercise and eating as a mental, physical and spiritual part of life (which it is) and when people see you as a good person and a positive influence on everyone else, he'll come around and notice that he's worthless and will change.
Also, if you do get him to start with exercise, after a week he'll notice he feels better and he might stick with it.
Trust me, it takes time. I even got my pot smoking roommate who lived on lasanga to eat healthy and exercise. He's a little beast in the gym now. ****, he's doing BJJ right now. It just takes time.

Jeez, who cares? I eat fast food a couple times a day everyday and I'm a pretty strong guy.

You see, some of us actually care more about ourselves instead of just being "a pretty strong guy" This IS the nutrition section and this is an AB debate so you can C your way out.
Also, some of us actually care where our money goes and don't want to support fast food businesses that destroy our planet, our bodies and lobby in our governments. I'm sure you wouldn't understand that though......

Ah yes, good technicalities. Since this is a BODYBUILDING site and a forum that promotes GOOD EATING HABITS AND NUTRITION, we should naturally have people coming in here saying wonderful gems of information such as "EAT WHAT YOU WANT, I'M NOT FAT SO THAT'S EVIDENCE THAT IT'S OK" and other stupid ****.
Quit being a douche.

No ****!!!!
That's why it's a good section to help people overcome ****ty eating habits, eating disorders and to promote a sensible and good diet.
On that note, there is NO problem with people starting threads about fast food and what they want to eat. HOWEVER, coming into a thread in which someone is trying to help his roommates change their eating habits and saying something along the lines of "Im not fat and I eat fast food" is about as retarded as it possibly gets.
If you want to promote a crappier forum because fast food has calories which makes it "nutritious" than that's your deal. However, I'd like to think that people here want to hear REAL advice on methods to improve their diet and lifestyle. It's a bodybuilding forum whether you think it is or isn't so that means people come on here looking for improvements. It's not rocket science.
