    Mass loss after stopping creatine.

    Hey guys,

I have been taking 5g of creatine per day for the past 4 weeks or so. I notice I have gotten bigger then before and am starting to feel as if I am making temporary muscle, or water gains. My true question is how much mass and weight will I lose after stopping creatine? I know I wont lose my gains but the water, but how much of my new size is water?

Thanks a lot, im really considering stopping creatine because I feel I cant see my real results.

Your body is actually transforming muscle into water as we speak. It's a shame really, you've been sucked into the creatine hype. shame on you.

on a serious note - think of creatine more as a product to enhance your lifting through increased recovery and increased tolerance to the resistence overloads your placing on your muscles. sure, creatine pumps some h20 into your muscles and makes them look fuller and all, but if your lifting hard enough coming off of creatine wont make you look much smaller.. and if your serious about gettin big and cut, you would take creatine year round for the most part...occasionaly cycling off if you really want

your metabolism is just an excuse. stop that mindset right now and eat big. eat tons of oatmeal, drink tons of skim milk, eat lots of lean meats, veggies, protein shakes, and dont be afraid of some fast food here and there. if ur an ecto, it wont hurt you. just eat eat eat and you will gain.

I've read this many times but for me I simply don't have an appetite. I know, eat anyways. But it makes me feel sick. Are there any appetite stimulents? I am quite active and oddly enough I have LESS of an appetite after an aerobic workout (I just want liquids). I can pack on a few pounds using whey because I don't seem to have a problem drinking when I'm full but I would prefer to gain most of my mass because of calories not derived from powder. Anyone...

I weighed 150 when i started creatine and after a few days was at 153, now im at about 160 so when i stop creatine i will probably drop to 157, i dont know how some people retained 12 lbs of water weight from creatine thats nuts.

You got the wrong mindset goin on bro. If you want to get to 170 lbs from around 150, you HAVE to put on some fat.. there is no way around it. You sound like an active dude, so your cals gotta go up.. If your a sedentry person your cals still gotta be big to grow but not as big as an active person like yourself. Best thing i did was added 2-3 cups of oats a day to what i already ate. Started growin. Good luck man.. and change your mindset, once you stop worrying about getting wicked fat, you'll gain. Eat till your bloated, even if it makes you feel fat, just know it'll be even easier to get lean once you pack on the lean mass.
