Response to protein powder for gaining muscle.
maybe you could check out a product by Now Fitness. they are a community that works together to make a manageable healthy lifestyle. they offer affordable products like fiber and protein and some of the people that use it, sell it, which is great! here is a link. I hope this is a helpful response.

Fitness Labs Whey Isolate has been my choice for years, I go with the natural vanilla one (I've been taking it since 2009).
I've always built quality lean muscle mass from it and what I like about it is that the quality of the protein is high and they inform you of it's whole amino acid profile right on the label so you know what you're getting in each scoop and they keep upgrading the quality of their whey (recently they switched to sunflower lecithin as opposed to soy lecithin as their emulsifier).
I've tried other products from Fitness Labs too over the years including their l-glutamine and German creatine and they're all legit and quality products.
I get this brand from the Nutrition Express website and also are still one of the few companies these days that still have catalogs of the products and their descriptions as well.

You can gain muscle using protein powder, but I would not rely solely on protein powder to get you there. That's a common mistake a lot of people make. You need to buy a quality protein powder and then also pay attention to your food choices and how you are working out to get the results you are looking for.
