this **** is pretty good, guy. it has alot of protein and essential vitamins, problem with alot of on whey is there is no vitamins. instone has multi's, protein and soluble fiber which is good for cholestrol, and other great nutritional supplements. i like on whey also though, don't get me wrong. but in body building in order to build the perfect body, u need the perfect supplements this one works for me.

Most of you people are far too concerned about taste, putting quality and results second (most, not all I said). I've tried plenty, but I've been using Nitro-Tech for almost 6 months now and can't ever see myself switching again.
Works great for me and I actually like the taste. If guys like Jay Cutler, Branch Warren, Johnnie Jackson, David Henry, and Gustavo Badell all use it then I say 'good enough for me'.
And yes they actually use it, not just pose with it for ads. Nitro-Tech costs more but it works, so I deal with it.

Well...
I have just started buidling my body out... so for starters i was suggested 100% Whey from Muscle Systems which is supposed to be the cheapest product on the shelves and the most nutritious content of all. This was indicated to me by LTP, whose is in some ways my Idol and an old friend. Thanks Buddy..
What i was wondering is EAS Myoplex a better choice since some bouncers of a night club who work out at my local gym tell me that Myoplex is a waste of money, since its not that efficient as Muscle Systems..
Im really lost and dont hav much time coz in a few days my muscle systems supply is running out..so can anyone suggest how to make the right decision, i have just started working out 3 weeks ago. im just a freshie into the BB world.."Where there is a Will, . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . There is a WeapoN"

ON whey is like crude oil, try Beverly muscle provider or American Whey.
Who ever said that ON makes you bulky should try some cardio and maybe some hi rep. super sets
As far as MR .327 lbs with 3% body fat and 725 lbs bench at 20 years old, if you are what you say, you should not only be the poster boy for every supplement you are taking but the poster boy for Upjohn and chinese GH.

Great topic
I have tried many diffrent supplements over the years, from Optimum, to Met-rx and everything inbetween. The only protein that has stood up for me over time has been AST's VP2. I have zero stomach issues, and a noticeable increase in muscle mass and decrease in fat. Optimum nutrion even changed their formula to include more Isolate to copy AST's VP2. Copying is the highest form of flattery. Their label use to list concentrate as their first ingredient now it is Isolate, and their adds are screaming it loud and clear. Funny, it is the same message AST has been saying, for what 18 years or so...

Great topic. I'm getting ready to order more protein and I usually go with ON, but I'm willing to try something else. I looked through this whole thread and didn't see All The Whey's products mentioned - anyone use any ATW stuff? How was it and all that?
Also, I'm considering MSM's 10-lb bag too. Anyone have anything more to say about that?
Thanks!

PVL Whey gourment's the swizzlestick...peanutbutter choc and orange creamsicle. great quality powder with isolates 1st on ingredients list, amino profile's good, but pricey. Like i've been saying for what? years?? invade Canada (...jokes)
Try scoop of choc peanutbutter per serving of reg. rolled oats oatmeal and some splenda if you've got a sweettooth.

cytogainer
yes i currently use Cytogainer too. I used that and various Gnc products so I haven't got too far into different proteins other then reviews i hear about various ones but the cytogainer was by far the better one and for a bulk one serving serves up 900 cals. I tend to use more milk and some peanut butter to up it to 1200 cals. O and also it taste great i use the vanilla and its superb

I've "read" some excellent things about the AST VP2. I've been a lurker for quite some time, I've learned quite a bit from you guys. I've been on Muscle Milk and I really love the "taste" and I've had some great results with it. However, I don't like the amount of Fats ie saturated fats with half the calories coming from Fat. I know they say "good fats" (their canola oil and proprietary betapol blend of veggy oils i guess), but I'm not a big fan still.
What I plan to do to cut the amount of muscle milk i drink (i still love it and wanna use it for the casein aspects), but i wanna cut back to one scoop of it and finish off my protein "dosing" with the AST VP2. This may be dumb but Its what i plan to try. I was gonna just use Cyto's evopro, but why not go for the best (VP2) in my hybrid protein concoction. I'll let ya'll know how it tastes and what i think about the gains etc . . ..

I cant begin to describe how many protein powders I've tried. MuscleMilk, Syntha 6, every damn one that ON makes. And so far the best one I've found is MBI's Synergy protein. I like it the best for three main reasons. 1. It's time released and contains whey, egg, and casein isolates. And note they are all isolates no concentrates! 2. It has 56 grams of protein which is the highest potency protein on the market. 3. It comes in 5.5lbs at a reasonable price and tastes awesome. It has the best $/grams of protein on the market.

I read this thread amongst others on this forum and I feel like crap because I've been using nothing but GNC products (Anabolic kit, Multi-vitamin, CLA, flax seed, Mega Whey Protein) and many people here don't like their products. I feel like I should definitely try some new stuff after reading the info on this site.
Anyhow, I'm new when it comes to supplements so I don't really know if a lot of the effects are simply placebo driven, but I've been taking GNC Mega Whey Protein for the last couple months as well as the aforementioned supps, and I've made gains. I've gained some weight (I'm 6'2" and I went from 195lbs - 207lbs in two months) but I look and feel a lot better (not to mention I'm stronger of course) and that counts for something. I've been taking 60g of the protein once after every workout and it seems to work. I'd like to possibly drop some pounds and just maintain around 205 while adding lean muscle mass. Maybe a protein change would help me to acheive that.

russian bear
hey guys i just picked up some russian bear today from the vitamin shoppe. any of you tried this product out there? ive heard some good things from it. im currently 17 and 155 pounds. ive been eating alot of food, and i went from 135 to 155 but i havnt gained anything for around 3 weeks now. i tried eating more food, but im currently eating 5 meals a day and this is hard enough to do with school and all the other things going on in life.
just some info on the product
it has 2600 callories and 184 grams of protein with 0 fat. now i find this a little bit too much to be adding ontop of my diet, so im thinking about just cutting the serving in half and doing it that way.
so any feedback on this product?Last edited by bubujone35; 05-25-2006 at 06:09 PM.

New to ON GOLD 100% and loving it!
Hey. I used to use an Australian brand called Aussie Bodies Perfect protein which I enjoyed but then decided to give ON 100% a try. I bought the 10lb double choc as it is a similar price to what I usually pay. It was usually more expensive as i live in australia but its suddenly come down in price...hope it stays.
Firstly, I love the taste. Aussie bodies was great but ON is awesome too! I can just mix it alone with milk and it tastes like chocolate milk. When i mix it in my PWO with lime gatorade its a different taste but still awesome. Just got to get used to it...might try it with berry gatorade.
I would definatley say this is the best bang for you buck!
Does anyone else feel kinda guilty when they open the bag/tub and get a smell of that awesome chocolate smell? It smells too good to be healthy.
No I am not a rep for ON....just a happy user.
