For overall quality of product as a MRP, I prefer Ergopharm's Mass Meal. All the flavors are excellent and the cost of comparable to all the other MRP's on the market whose ingredient profiles aren't necessarily as good.
For straight whey protein, I took ON for a long time and now prefer the Dynatize products.

I had better "gains" while on Muscle Milk (post workout & before sleep); gained a little over a pound a week over 1.5 months (of fat?). I've been taking ON 100% Gold now for the last 2 weeks; gains are have been much slower, averaging less than a pound a week.
By gains, I pretty much mean strength in the gym & body weight.
No change in eating habits but I did start the BSN Mass Stack the last week I was on the Muscle Milk.
Now I have both & still on the Mass Stack. I'll probably do the ON pre&post workout and maybe after some meals as directed; take the MM before going to sleep since it's a casein.
PS, I know there's tons of calories, calories from fat, & carbs in MM; but I'll ride the "Lean Lipid" boat for awhile & see where it takes me.

They seem comparable both in quality and price, with the VP2 being slightly more expensive per/lb.

Gnc protein is decent, But I'm starting with Optimum nutrition teusday in hopes for the best! Anyone some good flavors? I'm leaning towards cookies n cream, as it sounds delicous.

It's ingredients and profile look as good as any protein I've read about.
As stated by many in this thread who's words were brushed aside in favor of hype and sales/marketing lingo, protein is protein. The only difference truly is on "how long" it takes to absorb. Each protein process-type is represented in this cheapo protein. Concentrate, isolate, hydrolsate and even egg protein. It's a 4 hour time-release protein that is on par with any named in this thread IMO and it's cost is highly affordable from a local brick and mortar store near you.

Which flavor do you prefer?
I tried Chocolate but I had to add Nestles Quick.
The vanilla is OK by itself, but I add 1 bannana. If in season (like now) I also add strawberries.
I was kinda supprised with the suggested intake. 2 scoops twice a day. Each scoop 27g protien.
I thought I read 30g maximum at a time. I was taking 2 scoops in the morning but now take just 1 scoop.
I don't have anything to compare it to. I just started in March.

ON vanilla icecream Whey is pretty good, doesn't add a lot of flavor to Oatmeal however. My favorite is cookies and cream so far, but I'm planning on trying chocolate mint and rocky road.

There are so many dang guys getting paid to look like normal ppl on these threads advertising for companies.. you can never tell who is legit.
Sams club has 5lbs for 18.88. I've been using that for ages, and look at my stats. Protein is protein. If your diet isn't down, then it really doesn't matter which PEPTIDES or all that other bs you're taking in with your shake.
I hate guys coming in here thinking they can drastically alter their body by buying expensive protein powders. You can go without whey - plain and simple.
I've got a 10lb thing of ON coming in, so I'll let you know what I think of that.
