They are two completely different types of proteins. ON 100% Whey is just that. Syntha-6 is a blended protein. While Syntha-6 can be taken any time of the day, ON 100% Whey is more effective post-workout and first thing in the AM. My personal opinion is that ON 100% will provide more total health benefits also.

i have been using pro complex and im about through my first bucket... its awesome stuff, not to mention you can literally mix 8oz of powder with 2oz of water and it STILL mixes water thin... i use more water then that but just an example, i have the rocky road flavor, it tastes like hot cocoa that you let cool to room temperature, not bad at all

i wouldnt take a weight gainer for this, only because i believe its made to sort of fatten you up a little but turns to muscle fast, i took smart gainer and i gained about 30 lbs(i took it the first day i started in the gym in a long while) but i noticed my body fat percentage rising so i stopped taking it and switched to a lot lower calorie protein mix, ON's pro complex, plus it has even more protein then smart gainer
hope that helps

The best time to take cassein is before bed. It is a very slow absorbing protein that forms a gel in your stomach slowly releasing amino acids. It helps to prevent muscle being broken down while you sleep! Good stuff! Not as tasty as whey though. I never look forward to taking it.

you can make a weight gainer shake on your own, you just need to drink more than just whey though, youll need some more carbs and fats. plus at home you can manipulate the macros better. want more carbs? add oatmeal, some fats? add some almonds or flax. if you want even more calories but dont want to drink as much add milk. things like that
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always gotten.

Agreed...I have been using ON's Casein for a while now, but I'm not sure whether I would bother buying Casein again as I've seen some information going round (okay mainly on protein manufacturer sites) that Casein is far less efficient than Whey at rebuilding muscle.
For me I think I will spend the money saved on buying a separate Casein stack on a Whey Isolate with as high % protein value as poss. Although ON 100% is fantastic.

I am not sure if this product is available outside of NZ, but as a flight crew member who is constantly in different hotels I could not find a better product to pack in my suitcase.
It is similar to canned tuna in springwater. Very high in protein and low in fat it is a great addition to my daily protein intake.
Is there anything similar in the US I could try?
Here is the link to this product: http://www.chop-chop.co.nz/
Your thoughts on this product would be appreciated.
