They are two completely different types of proteins. ON 100% Whey is just that. Syntha-6 is a blended protein. While Syntha-6 can be taken any time of the day, ON 100% Whey is more effective post-workout and first thing in the AM. My personal opinion is that ON 100% will provide more total health benefits also.

I was considering getting a jug for some variation since Whey constitutes like 50-60% of my protein intake... Anyone use and like either of those?
Why don't you eat more solid foods? They are more complete forms of protein. I had two chicken breast and got over 100g protein. Super simple. Two shakes equals another 82g. That's my daily I'm shooting for.

The best time to take cassein is before bed. It is a very slow absorbing protein that forms a gel in your stomach slowly releasing amino acids. It helps to prevent muscle being broken down while you sleep! Good stuff! Not as tasty as whey though. I never look forward to taking it.

Weight gainers are just that weight gainers. It will increase your muscle mass from the protein, but also your BF most likely. BTW fat doesn't convert to muscle .

I just wish it wasn't so expensive, or I would definitely try it. Right now I'm using Cytogainer during the day - 2 servings of 3 scoops each, so 1.5 of the recommended servings along with a serving of ON 100% Casein at night.

you can make a weight gainer shake on your own, you just need to drink more than just whey though, youll need some more carbs and fats. plus at home you can manipulate the macros better. want more carbs? add oatmeal, some fats? add some almonds or flax. if you want even more calories but dont want to drink as much add milk. things like that
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always gotten.

I know. Unfortunately, the problem is that I'm often running around or working or something, so don't have access to a blender or anything - need to be able to shake or spoon-mix easily and quickly.

If cost weren't an issue, I'd say CNP ProPeptide or ON Pro Complex. But at 1/3 the price I go for ON Gold Standard, which gives best bang for buck.
    Supps:
    ON Gold Standard Whey
    ON Micronized Creapure

Agreed...I have been using ON's Casein for a while now, but I'm not sure whether I would bother buying Casein again as I've seen some information going round (okay mainly on protein manufacturer sites) that Casein is far less efficient than Whey at rebuilding muscle.

For me I think I will spend the money saved on buying a separate Casein stack on a Whey Isolate with as high % protein value as poss. Although ON 100% is fantastic.

mm then again canned chicken is 15g protein per 1/3 can, so theres 45g of protein right there, so about 90g in total if you eat two.. pretty decent if u ask me :P

    Pro Complex

I was using Optimum's 100% Whey Protein but then I switched to their Pro Complex since it happened to be on sale. It has more Protein per serving, a diverse protein blend from 8 other sources, and a whole lot more BCAA's. It's worth the try if you're looking for something new.

I am not sure if this product is available outside of NZ, but as a flight crew member who is constantly in different hotels I could not find a better product to pack in my suitcase.
It is similar to canned tuna in springwater. Very high in protein and low in fat it is a great addition to my daily protein intake.
Is there anything similar in the US I could try?

Here is the link to this product: http://www.chop-chop.co.nz/

Your thoughts on this product would be appreciated.
