1: Seeing strength gains
It just makes it all so much more fun when you put up 5kg more than usual.
2: Pump/soreness/fatigue/exhaustion/getting up one more rep
It really motivates me when I can clearly feel that I have used my body and pushed it beyond what I thought I could.
3: Having buddies/spotters peptalk me while training
Makes me push myself harder

1) Haters- You gotta have those people out there to tell you that you can't do it. With me, it just takes my motivation levels to new heights. Love proving people wrong!
2) Supporters- On the flip side, you have to have those around you that believe in you and will be by your side during your hardships as well as your successes. On those tough days when you feel like giving up, knowing that you're not only giving up on yourself, but those who believe in you will just make it that much easier for you to stay in the game!
3) Motivation- No matter how you find it!! Preworkouts, videos, music, pictures... You have to have it!! Without it, you will not be able to continue.. That's the difference between those how succeed and those who fail... Get Motivated!!!Darren Conroy

1) A training partner that is just a bit faster than me on the track no matter how hard I push
2) A coach that doesn't let me slack off and takes NO excuses, so there's gonna be hardcore lifting when I'm done with the track
3) My Saucony Showdown 2 track spikes... that are generally only pulled out when race time gets close, otherwise I train in my Brooks PR Sprint ones
Put these 3 together and it'll be a killer workout... which I'll love the feeling of at the end provided I survive. :P

On the contrary, what everyone needs to achieve their goals is discipline.

To keep this going since the early 80s…
1- home gym and or access to equipment close to home/work
* my gym never closes
*I can keep workouts short because I can do pushes opposite pulls without sharing equipment
* sometimes a change of scenery is refreshing and motivating, training with football kids keeps me young too.
2- assorted bodybuilding books and videos
* nowadays it’s easy with YouTube- but back in the day bodybuilding training videos were hard to find.
3- feedback
* comments made by others, my own photos, videos, how clothes fit, gym performance, setting PRS…gains keep me going.
Now all of that said…
1- nutrition
2- sleep
3- properly handled stress/ priorities in order"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

I know it is an old thread, but I laughed at OP's "Creatine Once i started taking this it elevated my workout to a whole different level of intensity. I feel more aggressive on this stuff for some reason."
If that is OP in the photo, I wonder how he feels on the real stuff (cough... vitamin S... cough) that he took, if creatine made him more aggresive.I like to learn from the mistakes of the people who take my advice.
