Before anyone says it, no, I'm not getting confused with red wine. I'm sure I read somewhere that whisky (in moderation of course) is good for your heart of circulation or something???

I thought I read something like, even slight alcohol intoxication decreases protein synthesis by 80% for up to three hrs...anyway, whiskey is definitely good for a little R and R

I enjoy a glass of whisky on ice from time to time.

Alcohol in general is "healthy" in the fact that it thins your blood out, but other than that, it's all bad. If you must drink whiskey, keep it far away from your workout time. The last thing you want to do is drink alcohol right after you workout and your body is screaming for nutrients.

driving around stoned isn't that big of a deal...I did it at least once a day for a couple yrs, along with most of my friends at the time
driving around drunk and stoned on the other hand...that takes some real balls

The alcohol in whiskey has been shown, in moderation, to thin the blood and provide health benefits. However, it is so damn easy to start overdoing it. I was an alcoholic for many years, drank a half gallon of whiskey every day and half for years. And no, it definetly doesnt have health benefits at that amount LOL...It literally poisoned my body, almost killed me before I quit. Best thing to do is drink grape juice or pomegrante juice which provides the same health benefits as red wine without the alcohol. If any of you have any serious questions about alcohol abuse and what it can do to you message me LOL
