Well I want to break the school bench press record of 112 KG, its not that much I know but we aren't a football school, we only have 200 kids or less and we still won Single A Soccer provincials for BC in 04-05, and we have lots of hockey players but enuf about that. Are school has this gay bench press machine, it puts u at the bottom of the lift and it goes up in like 10-12.5 KGs or some wierd increases. Anyways I got till 07 (Grad) June 29th (final day of school I think) to break it, right now I am at 75 KG on it, next up on it is 82 KG. So i got like 90 pounds to go, prolly can't make it but I'll try anyway cuz its the only way to find out.

You'll thank yourself when you're older for getting into the iron game at a young age.

So you're trying to break the school bench press machine record, or will you be using a barbell for the record? In any case you'll be training for a powerlifting style lift, so I would check out that section for training tips. But just for a quick hint, I'll bet if you train regularly on barbells at a gym say, you'd kick the machine's butt. Good luck.

okay this is I will go about it: I have hockey right now so I got plenty of cardio and also generally practice/games are very intense (when shouldn't they be, heh). So I am going to lift 1-2x a week.
Bench Press
1-3 reps with a 85-95% load for 5-15 sets
shrugs (for grip & rotator cuffs/upper back) 2x10-15
Hyper Extensions 3x10-25
If I wasn't in hockey I would prolly add squats, and another press, some abs too and of course cardio. I am not eating excess calories so gaining strength could be slower? Its just that I don't want to be carry around more fat than i need to as I have trimmed my waist line a bit in the past 2 months by eating less and I have sustained my strength, I wouldn't call it a cut. Other reasons include hockey, can't get chunky for that sport and beach season is coming up too. Anyway let me know how this looks. You'll thank yourself when you're older for getting into the iron game at a young age.

You should not only beat the record, but set your new record so high that it will stand for a long, long time!!
