What Bible do ya'll read from? I bought a study Bible which has been pretty insightful. Also, just learned of a few apps called The Bible app and Daily Bible Devotionals. Haven't tried them yet, I'm sometimes skeptical of apps like this, because they turn into more entertaininment than a learning tool. But, thought I'd share if you want to check them out.

I am thankful to God that I am healthy and can lift and enjoy the endorphins. Enjoy the constant new limits. That I can sustain 4000 calories a day of whole foods.
We are all gonna make it brahs.
What's spending 0.00001% of spending your day to be thankful and recognize God for his reckless love. Also having an extra set of morals.Last edited by Natty99; 12-08-2019 at 01:23 PM.
That's what we do in this ****, brah.

I like that...''reckless love.'' ^^
Just wanted to share with ya'll an app that I recently got, and love. It's called Abide, and there are 2,5,30 and 60 minute meditations based on Scripture for each day. It also has a sleep section to listen to different Biblical stories as you fall asleep. There is music, and nature sounds to put in the background, too. It's $9.99 monthly - which isn't too bad for all that it gives you.
Have a great week!

I’ll be praying for you. Hoping that you’ll feel His peace and strength through whatever you’re going through.
It’s ironic you posted this because I was just about to post this:
2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect through your weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest upon me.
Are you still pastoring this year?Last edited by whatevergirl; 01-12-2020 at 08:47 AM.

Yea, it’s hard sometimes to “find” time but buying a journal to write down for example what you’re grateful for, prayers, things that are on your heart, etc can really help you set aside time. Ever since I started keeping a journal, I look forward to that time; we hear Him most when we are still, I’ve found.

Sorry to hear that. It's great that you have a support sytem available. I know you know this, but it bears repeating...surrender all of it to God. He fights our battles, even when we don't think so. Sometimes, it feels like God's not around, not listening, not caring...we don't 'see' any changes happening. But, He's working all things for our good. I have learned this, through my own trials. Praying that you find peace and joy, in the midst of it all.
I found this video recently, it's from the recent Passion 2020 conference. Sadie Robertson is from the show Duck Dynasty (I've never watched one episode of that lol) but her ''testimony'' is real and inspiring.
It's long, but worth the watch, when ya'll have time.

I read something insightful this morning that caught my eye. ''When fear trumps following Jesus, then you're being self-centered.'' Sometimes, it doesn't seem like fear is a self-centering thing, but I guess it is. I've struggled with fears and worry, and it seems that was the thing Jesus talked about the most in the Bible - that we shouldn't be afraid.
