Tom Platz is my favorite bodybuilder of all time, and seeing as how he might come back I decided that it might be a good idea to make a thread for him. I don't know how to embed so kind of hard on my part. Post all your Tom Platz pics here. I will post my favorite pre-leg workout video, really gets me pumped to trash my quads and helps me memorize amazing form.
Tom Platz is a little later in the movie but I'm sure you guys don't mind seeing big squats! Also some Ronnie Coleman in this video which you will all love. If you're wondering Tom Platz is doing 225kg

Do you realize how physically taxing it is to do 20 reps with even 300? With your max 225. You have to take long rests in between rests later on because if you don't you will pass out due to lack of oxygen, it is 'that' physically taxing. Marunde was doing full below parallel reps, Coleman was doing bodybuilder reps, just above parallel stop before lockout. Both are hard in their own right but comparing the two on a strength level is dumb. Coleman is stronger than any other bodybuilder I have known but I don't feel he is World's strongest man level strong. Two different physiques, two different body types, two different training styles. As to not turn this into a bodybuilding/strongman or powerlifting dispute, all of us are alike; We're just trying to put on some good ole' muscle.

hey guys, um, it doesn't matter what the person typing can lift. he can still make a comment about it. i get tired of seeing a comment of like "branch warren uses pretty terrible form" and then some random says "I BET YOU COULDNT LIFT THAT MUCH WITH THE SAME FORM"
so what?
it doesnt change the person's opinion.
(can't watch video, i'm at work)Excuse me, your seatbelt seems to be broken. What do you recommend I do?

Alteast 1 person here has a brain.
Look, Marunde, sure, hes big and strong. Thinking of 405 x 20 sounds great. very impressive. Watching it has got to be one of the most single boring things to watch on video.. ever.
Anyway, if you people hold Marunde so close to your hearts then good for you. You don't have to go off nutting all over your keyboards over him just because of a simple negative statement about his video. I only half meant it anyway. I can't lie tho, I did get very bored and a little bothered after the 15th rep.click clack! salute!
