Hey gang, I entered myself into a "fitness competition" off another forum. It is divided into 2 categories: weight loss and muscle gain. I entered into the weight loss category and I plan on starting keto here next week. The contest goes from today (Jan 16) until April 23rd. The judging is done by before/after pictures and then voting.
Do you think I can lose quite a bit of fat between now and then? How long until I really start seeing results if I'm pretty strict?

i was also taking epherine hcl and caffeine... let me tell you... its crazy how the weight just comes off... wait let me rephrase that... its crazy how the FAT comes off... my stomach has not been this firm ina LONG TIME. And i started seeing results from the first week. Just stick to it, its a great feeling when you see resulsts so quick because it keeps you motivated. BUT make sure you stay strong, because for the first few days you WILL CRAVE carbs like CRAZY. but you'll get used to it.
FYI dont do a carb up until at least 2 weeks have passed.

Yea, but it takes awhile to get there. At first, the process of using ketones for energy makes you tired, groggy, and just weak overall (some transition better than others). The term "fat-adapted" means your body has gotten so used to being on keto that you feel as good, or better than when your energy was coming from carbs.
