    How many times a week you work each muscle?

    I was wondering if some one could help me with my question!

    Ive been told that you should only work each muscle once a week! but i see other people working it every and others work it twice a week! Ive been told that for the best growth and development you should only work each muscle once a week! would if effect me if i was to work any muscle more then once a week?

    The thing is, you body doesnt go by a 7 day week. It recovers when it want and takes how long it wants. Generally it takes around 48 hours for a muscle to be ready to be trained again, but some take more, some take less. You could usually get away with training a muscle every 3 days or so.

    I train each part specifically once a week... but they also get worked during compound movements etc

    Depends on your body, and how healthy you eat, and your supplements etc. Try both ways out, see which way works best for you =].

    i work my triceps and biceps twice a week and ive had very good results, im now also going to start traning my chest twice a week and im pretty sure ill get good results. but then again it depends on you theres no set limit on how many times you should work each muscle to get maximum growth.

    I specifically train a muscle group once a week, but through compound movements I'm sure that certain groups are more work throughout the week. I fear overtraining.
    Stop worrying so much about overtraining. Worry about undereating and under-resting. If it works keep it up. If it doesn't, get rid of it. Compound lifts rule. So does unprocessed food.

    With milk at $5 a gallon how do some of you afford so many useless supps?
