one thing I have never done is taken protien before I sleep. I have been reading that there are man benifits including fat loss.
can anyone suggest a good night time protien?
All I have is whey (ON)
thinking that since whey is so quickly absorbed, my body will kill it in 2 hours or so leaving me empty the rest of the night.
Seems like I should need no carbs, no sugars, maybe a casin whey combo or somthing?
any brands you guys wanna reccomend over others?

You want a micellar casein product no sodium or calcium casein or just Milk protein isolate (80%micellar casein/20% whey)
True protein sell MPI

rec. dosing is 9 pills a day,so a bottle would last 2 1/2 weeks at that dosage.
my friend who swears by it gave me a bottle after i gave him some AMP.
he still claims to this day that thermogain is just like AMP but with creatine,so its better...LOL- SNS Rep

That's 6 g of sugar, a bit of fibre, and the rest is in maltodextrin. Not great for cutting. I use ON Vanilla Casein myself. It takes some getting used to, doesn't mix very well, but all in all it tastes kind of like rice pudding - a nice change from just a regular whey shake.

I can't really afford "Blended" powders so i go 1-2 scoops of whey with 2 cups of milk and a whole lot of cottage cheese. Also some flax and fish oils.
This is what works best for me, not as convient or tasty but cheaper.Don't Support Companies that are suing me!!

Cytosport whey Cookies and Cream is amazing in yogurt, i buy plain yogurt, mix in a few scoops and some Cottage cheese and use that from time to time if i don't have milk.
Blending definitely makes it a lot easier to go down but shaken is not a big deal if im just chugging it.Don't Support Companies that are suing me!!

ISS Micellar Matrix for me either Choc. or Banana. Have taken this product for the last 12 months and I personally think it's great stuff. Delivers the AA's over a 7 hour period and supposedly decreases muscle breakdown by 34%.
