So here's my home gym I've put together recently. A little cramped but the wife gave me the ok to take over part of a room so I'll take what I can get. It's not hard to move things around either for doing certain exercises.

Equipment is as follows
- Titan T2 power rack with dip bars
- Rogue Ohio Power bar
- Xmark incline/decline bench, preacher curl attachment and leg curl/extension attachment
- T-bar attachment at base of rack and t-bar handle hanging on wall over plates
- Cap plates and 25lb and 40lb cap kettlebells
- TRX suspension handles
- EZ curl bar, dumbbell handles and cap bar stand
- Boxing BOB
- Teeter gravity boots
- Misc items like a 10lb medicine ball, chains, pullup assist band, push up handles, arm blaster, Fat Gripz, calf raise platform,

Thanks, it's been working really well so far. Making tweaks here and there and adding bits and pieces like everyone. Only thing I miss is some type of cable machine for lat pulldowns and tris/bis but I think that might be the next attachment I get.

It is the Aktiv line. 3/8" is plenty for most uses. If you're at 450 for DL and you aren't setting down gently, you may want to build a platform. Besides, rolled rubber flooring should attach to the subfloor/cement with glue and if your floor is wood and not cement or some sort of subflooring, you probably can't and won't want to glue rubber to it.

I planned on using tape for the seams. Rogue gave me the quote and said this was the "recommended" method. Where did you end up purchasing yours from? For anyone curious, Rogue quoted $633.74 shipped for 276 sqf. Doing the same space with stall mats would be about $520, so I'm leaning towards the better fit/consistency of the rolled rubber for an extra $100.

Separate from install issues, for $100 I would take roller rubber over stall mats all day every day.

Hey Rich - I had missed that post! What a steal! A Watson animal would be amazing, brand new they are way too expensive for me though.

I've not found any Strength Shop reviews - I think I'm unlikely to order one so haven't emailed them for any info or anything as I don't want to waste their time. Does seem weird that it's got literally no info though.

Incidentally I found a couple of reviews on the standard Watson power rack - looks very sturdy. As does the Rogue range in videos - I guess you don't know until you use them how true that is though.

Yea the ATX mono attachment pushed it up quite a bit - If it was £12-1300 I'd probably just buy it but at £1500 it feels a bit much for what it is just now.

My watson rack was on eBay, listed for stupid high buy it now. I just messaged the guy said I was local could collect asap and offered £700. He was an oly lifter, said he bought it and when he saw how much space it took up in his garage he wanted it gone.
Power zone should have pics on its site, it's not the best site I'll admit but their kit is top quality. I'm not a massive fan of strength shop to be honest. I have their Swiss bar and build quality isn't the best.

That is a great deal on the Animal rack, I looked at the Animal half rack before deciding on my Legend 3226. Watson over engineer everything, but, IMO that's a good thing, I have quite a bit of Watson kit in my gym and love it.

Thanks yes it's huge to be honest. It's although the walk through design so no bottom brace more like an archway and technically supposed to be bolted however it's so heavy especially with plates on the back it doesn't move. Nice extra touches with it like the fat grip monkey bar etc.

added a new powertec WB-MP16 to the gym. I know its not Legendary. But it will have to do for now.

Nice! How does it "feel"? How is it for seated overhead press? I see a Hammer Strength Dip behind it. That machine is one of the BEST tricep machines ever. Is the leg press a Body Solid? You have some really nice equipment.

haven't had a lot of time to truly test it out. but so far it seems fine. The new model gives you more flexibility in seat adjustments than the older model I had before. So yo can tweak your setting s a bit more. I did a quick tryout on the shoulder press ( one of the reasons I got it). it seems good. I like it. I'll give it a good test this week on chest and shoulder days. Yes I do love the hammer strength tricep press. If I had way more room I would get many more hammer separates ( one of the reasons I got the powertec). The Leg Press is a Bodycraft.

I've used the Hammer Triceps too. Solid piece and good feel to it. Hammer stuff is nice but seems to be designed with no regard for space utilization. Kind of makes it cool though.

Ya... Got them for 50 cents a pound from a guy in Markham. They are a bit rough around the edges, but they aren't in too bad shape. I have two 45s, four 25s, and four 10s. Then i just picked up two 5s snd two 2.5s from fitness depot.

This is my home gym/studio. I am stockpiling as much stuff as I can fit until I open up my own studio hopefully early next year. The next few things on the list are an EliteFTS Collegiate Rack, Concept 2 Rower, Concept 2 Skierg...and more slam balls, kettlebells. I just picked up a set of dumbbells 5lbs-90lbs off Craigslist yesterday. Some awesome builds in here, I will definitely be taking some ideas from you guys.

Hey Grumpytude. Does the Powertec have bearings or bushings at the pivot point? Where did you get yours? I have seen a couple places have the older version, but, not the 16 like you have. Yours appears to have a much nicer seat adjustment than the older versions.

I know the seat adjustment is a bearings carriage. Yes there are more adjustments to seating. the back and and seat are both independently adjustable. as well as the height of the seat. the arms are bushing I believe. just an insert that they slide into. Seems very smooth to me. I didn't assemble my older model so not sure what that used. this was pretty straight forward. with no weight on the bar the arms working together there seems to be a little play when moving them- I mean not moving at exactly the same time. but once weight is applied its a non-issue. where as the older model they was no option for this since the arms where one unit. So far I am liking it. I was going to get the IM2000- but either one would have benefice for my needs.

Just an alternative to my workouts. I would say the only downfall of these designs is that you are starting the exercise with he weight at the very bottom position ( opposite of say the IM2000). Some people don't like that. I don't mind. Its kinda like doing dumbbell work. you have to start at the bottom when doing any kind of heavy press, which never bothered me either. Sorry to go on and on. I bought the unit directly from Powertec. I did look around but you are correct, couldn't find anyone who had the new model yet.

At the time they were offering an additional 5% off (and it looks like they still are--the coupon code I got hasn't expired). It was shipped directly from Powertec in California, so I'm guessing they just offer whatever Powertec has available--I'm not sure what models (if any) they keep in stock.

How do you like the new matte finish? I think it looks sharp.

good to know thanks. wish I knew earlier could have saved some money I think. post some pics when you are set up with it. Yes I noticed that now the gloss finish is no more. Not sure How I feel about it. I could live with either finish. The glossy might be a tad more durable. I have a few spots I need to touch up from minor scratches. the tiny bottle they give you is useless. according to fitness factory outlet web site they show the unit having industrial grade bearings on the arm pivot point. to answer Greybirds previous question.

I read that. I also looked at the manual. If you don't mind, Could you take a close up of the pivot area? I just don't want to buy anymore machines with bushings. I have all the plate loading Body Solid machines. Most have bushings.. They crack and break. They do replace them for free, but, I want bearings on future machines.

I think their web site is correct looks like bearing and found this over a sam's fitness for replacement parts
