4...grip the barbell a little more than shoulder width apart, legs should be just inside your arms.

6...let the bar down slowly, back to the starting point

...that is a regular hack squat. what Hola had in his video was a machine hack squat(which most of us do because you can do more weight)

i think that's the only machine I like more than freeweight...

What does you guys think about smith machine front squats, not as my first exercise but maybe the second in line after squats instead of leg press?

I remember my sister could leg press 350 lbs when she weighed like 110 pounds in HS.

it's all genetics. Most people at the gym would look at me wondering how the hell i was doing so much. One of the RBs and OL on our football team here was working out in the regular non-student athlete gym one night when they saw me leg pressing and gathered around me because they didn't believe i could do what i was about to do, but i did and the RB calls me Legs now because of it. Turns out I could press more than both of them (just barely beat the OL guy by maybe 25 lbs).

I don't get how I can do so much, so my best explanation is my genetics
Has to be. That means that you dont have Down, you are Bruce Lee's illegitimate son!

I just did front squats today. I love them. My quads are fried right now. I did 4x8 with 2/3 of my back squat weight. They are a little hard on the shoulders, but that might just take some adjusting.
I used to be 135 pounds, give me a break.
