Spot reduction means that you can't just lose fat from one part of your body. You need to lose it all over.

Both leg raises and reverse crunches a second-rate exercises.

Do dragon flags, L-seats, pikes, and side bends and you'll be set with a bulletproof stomache.

It says in your sig that your 13% BF.

If your ready to cut a little bit, go down to 8-10% BF. 13 is really pushing it for a well defined 6-pack, but it varies from person to person.

For me, Im 7-8% BF but I still cant see my lower abs. *shrug*

khronos, that might mean your abs are very weak/not developed. Try doing weighted crunches or using an ab machine at your gym maybe. Dunno if you're already doing that. I was always told in order to get large ab muscles to keep reps to 6-8 and weights high. just like in any other mass building exercise.

Yea, I just finally caught onto that. I was kinda misled, told that abs are the one group of muscles that its ok to go endurance on. I was doing 500 situps and barely getting any fatigue. I now weight myself 20 lbs and can barely do 2 sets of 25 :P. I think Im gonna put that down to 3 sets of 10 with more weight tho or something along those lines.

SohrabIL: Dont you mean the bottom four? Your 'abs' are actually only one muscle but it is divided into 8 ections by having 1 verticle tendon and 3 horizontal tendons keeping stuck to the body.

It sounds like you have the right idea already. Lose fat and work the lower half

do some weighted leg pull-ins on a bench and leg raises. DONT do side bends bcos you'll lose the V-shape as this exercise makes your waist larger and that isnt probably what ny1 wants. I certainly dont. Consider doing sm cardio to lose the fat round your stomach, im sure you'll c a difference

    do cross crunches

lay on your back like a normal crunch, but put your ankle on top of the opposite knee, and crunch towards the knee in the air, after however many, switch and do the same for the other leg
