    Protein Chocolate Brownie

2 scoops of Chocolate Whey Protein
    1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 tbsp of Jell-o Sugar Free Chocolate Fudge pudding
    1/3c of water

Mix all the ingredients together in a microwave safe bowl. Once the ingredients are blended and batter like you can add other things to it (nuts etc.). Once prepared, 60-75 seconds in the microwave. Itll rise in the microwave, making a nice sized brownie. Let it cool if youd like to add a sugar free topping.

Considering it as 1 serving...these values will vary a bit with your protein powder....
    40g of protein
    12g of carbs
    3g of fat

Tried adding 1tbsp of chunky natty pb to it today, needed to add another 2oz of water or so. 1/2c. would work. Was kick ass.

Sounds good, although I think the protein would be denatured from the microwaving process.

Doubt it..if protein just denatured when cooked, we would have to eat everything raw.

I tried this today and it came out extremely dry and kinda rubbery. Any tips on how to make it moist? I microwaved it on a minute. I'll post pics in a few.

Tried it once with casein and whey, did have a lighter texture. Been adding walnuts to it too, to give it something extra.

    Thanks for posting pics.

Thanks man, after a little trial and error I think I got it right. The second time I added some cream cheese but too much liquid and it came out too moist. Today I'm going to try it with some pb. Thanks again for this kick ass recipe.

Maybe add some egg product or a tad of olive oil? My protein pancakes gave me a problem with moisture and stuck to the pan, but when i added olive oil, problem solved!

Thanks for posting this! I combined:
    1 scoop ON's 100% Whey Double chocolate
1 Tbsp. SF chocolate pudding mix
    1/4 tsp. Baking powder
    Water

Microwaved it for one minute then flipped it onto a plate (don't mind my childish plate :P) and sprinkled a lil bit of splenda on top. YUM, props!

Also, you can mix a tiny bit of pudding mix and drizzle it over the top.

ah the plate makes it look festive LOL, how was the texture? was it bland?

I was gonna add 1/4 cup of the pudding mix since i was adding the graham cracker whey instead of choc whey

Texture was decent, little spongey in the thicker parts but somewhat moist. Pretty good taste too, not that plain, but i'm not used to sweet things anymore. Def will make again!

Id imagine any protein would be fine, not sure how it would effect the texture. Casein/Whey Blend was a bit lighter.

I made it without the SF Pudding, just
1 scoop ON extreme milk chocolate whey
    1 teaspoon of baking powder
    water
    few drops vanila extract
and it came out surprisingly good... a bit dry though
second brownie I tried adding PB but it didn't help ... how can I make it more moist?
    thanks for the recipe!!

I have tried this several times now, without what I would consider a success. Following original recipe, only with less protein(1 1/4 scoop).

It is either not cooked with sections that are still batter, or way too dry(like in the pics posted above). Any ideas?

I would try and make a square rather than a bowl. Maybe if you make the surface area greater it will cook more evenly and take less time to cook.

Thing is, I own NO protein powder.

I'm looking for something that has similar properties to it. I'd imagine something that dissolves and is kind of protein-y. Hmmmm..

    : )

If it's turning out too dry, then you could simply add more water/milk to the recipe next time and possibly not cook it quite as long. Make take a little trial and error to get it perfect. Great recipe though! Especially for folks with a sweet tooth like myself!

i thought i was eating foam cushions LOL

    i have some ideas

    lets try 3 different things

    1. put this in the oven for 15 mins instead of the microwave
2 if you want to leave in it in micro try adding 1/4 cup of egg beaters
3 if in micro instead of egg beaters, try 6ozs of yogurt or skim milk 1/3 cup

can any of yas try these out and see if they improve ?

LoL I tried milk w/ an egg still turned out that way but when I used some cream cheese it was moist but I added too much liquid. I think the key would be to add some source of fat to it.

I used about a tablespoon, I was out of the reduced fat so I used some regular philly spread. I haven't tried it in the oven yet, I will try tomorrow and post pics if successful.
