I picked up a cheap HA at walmart last week, as I didnt feel like waiting til my next bb.com to get the NOW HA that I plan on getting.
Anyhow.....ive had a neck pain for years now. As crazy as it seems, within a day I noticed less pain. The weird thing is that my neck is feeling stiffer, but hasnt had any pain since I started this stuff. Ill see how it goes until this bottle is empty and decide if I wanna keep using the HA or not. Im doing 80mg/day now.

Still working for me. The Ortho Doc who did the surgery on my broken leg a year ago July 12th is the same guy who did my Synvisc shots some 7 years ago. I was yellow bone on yellow bone and he was ready for some serious reconstruction of both knees (two meniscus surgeries each). He said we should try Synvisc first and see if I was a good receptor. Within 3 weeks I was pain free. He said I would need to get the tank topped off so to speak every year with more Synvisc. Apparantly not. The oral Jarrow formula suits me fine. I am pain free and squat today without any problems except age related strenghth loss.

How old are you, for cryin' out loud? Is this why Wonder Boy is getting all the women now?
I've been using HA & am not sure whether to give it credit or not, but my elbow tendonitis has gone away & the RC tweak I had last wk has lessened considerably. I'm also using glucosamine, chondroitin, & msm so don't really know who to give the pat on the back to.

After reading the first couple of pages of this post, I decided to try HA for the soreness in my knees. I ordered the Now 100mg from BB.com and used it for a couple of months @ 200mg a day. At first it seemed to be working, but after a while the soreness came back and just recently I stopped taking it while out of town for 2 weeks. Didn't notice any difference whatsoever. Oh well.

M1K....I think the secret of getting oral Hyaluronic Acid past the acidic caldron gut and into the blood stream is it's bio availability. Anyone can toss HA into their pills/tablets and be telling the truth about the ingrediants. If it actualy gets into the blood stream is another thing. Very few formulas have this ability.
In fact there is a patent on the technology.....

Baldie, I started the HA today, I bought some Natures Way "Hydroplenish". I was wondering where you get your supp's if it's in Glendale I am over there often. I could not find the Jarrow at Vitamin Shoppe. I would be into working out with ya, but 5 am is no good I work 3rd shift, so my days off I'll be damned if I am setting an alarm clock.......... Thanks for the info!

JRT...I don't think that the elbow joint has a cushioning pocket of Synovial fluid similar to the knee. There we have the tendon and bursa flare up problem....5mg. Manganese and sub lingual B-12 (for the Cobalt *red coloring in B-12*) combine to form an anti inflamatory co-enzyme.
Quag...so you are the dude who beats me to all the fresh buffalo burger at Whole Foods. For those of you who are not familiar with this giant Mecca of over priced suppliments, fresh and organic foods....it's my favorite place to people watch. A wild mix of the obese, steriotypical soccer moms, skinny frizzed hair sunken eyed vegan women, old hippies, unwashed 3rd worlders staring at the 300 varieties of vinegar and 600 varieties of yogurt, a rainbow contingent from West Los Angeles, the jogging/bike/tennis set, Quag and Baldsnake.
