Press sit-up, any good?

This exercise is done where you hold a barbell over your head, lying on a bench. You then to situps while holding the bar overhead.

Has anyone tried these? If so do you think they are a good ab exercise?

Far too easy to cheat. WEight should be behind your head on ab work.

If you do crunches like this, and focus on pushing the bar up at the same time, it hammers your serratus muscles.

I'm just looking for quality exercise I would be able to do at home. If I get a home gym I won't have a pulley or a crunch machine. I like weighted crunches and cable crunches the most though.

Since you're already spending a billion dollars on your gym-get an ab board-they're only 30 bucks.

couple problems with that

1. RU has been working out longer than w8
2. w8 is just ending his bulk
3. both w8 and ru have way too much dignity then to give you a strip show!!

This reminds me. After I cut off about 30 lbs of fat and hadn't really gotten into lifting - you can imagine - I was thinner - I looked like I did now without the bulk underneath - small flat butt at the time - didn't FEEL thick..

well one night I was walking into school and some really ghetto guy goes "Damn girl, are ya'll that THICK around here?" and I thought I misheard him so I asked him to repeat himself and he says "Damn girl, are YA'LL THAT THICK AROUND HERE" and I stopped, thought about it and asked him if he felt it was a compliment and he goes HELL YEAH - and I sharply informed him that it wasn't and then I hurried into school - I cried. All that work and some ghetto asswhole was calling me thick.

No. I like the way I look right now, size wise - I just want more lean mass. My best friend is the same height as me and she's 115 - she gets **** all the time for being too skinny - and she looks frail - I don't want that. I want to keep my butt, my legs etc - the same size - thin out my arms so the muscle is more apparent (there is already definition) and trim down my hips/abs.

Thats gross. personally i like my girls with little muscle but good bodies. makes me dominant so i can throw them around into different positions. if a girl is all built like that i fear for my safety
