Any Bodybuilders suffer from Celiac Disease?

I was recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease, which is an intolerance to gluten and wheat. It is quite a challenge to come up with foods to eat.

If there are any bodybuilders who suffer from Celiac, I would be interested in finding out what your diet consists of.

Right now, my breakfast consists of G-F, W-F Millet Bread (sometimes with almond butter) and tea.

Can anyone recommend "breakfast foods" that are gluten, wheat and lactose-free in order for me to vary my diet? Right now, my breakfast consists of G-F, W-F Millet Bread (sometimes with almond butter) and tea.

    Thanks!

+1 for quinoa. I eat it almost daily since being diagnosed with celiac.

I am not a bodybuilder but I work out 5 times a week and my goal is to reduce body fat and increase muscle.

I am not gluten-intolerant but I eat gluten-free and have no issues with finding things to eat...I don't eat bread or grains either. I eat mostly lean meats, eggs, yogurt, veggies, salads, fruits, cottage cheese, etc.. If you get creative in the kitchen there is no stopping the delicious foods you can eat!!

A couple of my favorite sites:

    http://www.elanaspantry.com/

    http://www.paleofood.com/

    http://paleodietlifestyle.com/paleo-diet-recipes/

Basically if you google "Paleo recipes" and "gluten-free recipes" you can come up with all kinds of stuff!

Brown Rice pasta is an awesome alternative to regular pasta. I love it. Also, now there is a whole section at the super walmart with Gluten-free food. You can eat Chex (cinnamon flavor= awesome!), corn pasta, sprouted grain bread, those "think thin" bars are gluten free.
