MY opinion is that by increasing the cytosolic NADH/NAD+ ratio the tetrahydrobiopterin co-factor that assists the NO producing enzyme is more active.

We had a Vitamin C abstract in one those NO threads that mentioned the impotance of the NADH/NAD+ ratio as far as NO production goes as well.

"DHA also inhibits inducible nitric oxide synthetase (reducing formation of the peroxynitrite free radical)"

    ^^^^^^^^ That's from my sig.

See A lot of times these omega 6 and omega 3 fatty acids have opposite roles. But that is not taking into considering synergistic combinations.

Anyway, I could never get a great pump on just fish oil. You can't ignore the facts on why that is either.

Anyway, I like AA plus DHA for other reasons.
