Opti-Pak by SuperNutrition... excellent product and it is used/endorsed by the US Weightlifting team.
Compare it to a bottle of any One-A-Day vitamins. Not "just any" multi will work, athletes need a superior formula, in my opinion at least.

Most people do an overkill when it comes to multis, especially when they are eating nutrition bars, meal replacement shakes etc... that all contain for the most part the full spectum of vitamins and minerals.
IMO a simple Mens One A Day or Mens Centrum will do just fine and will help keep $$ in your wallet as well!

when dieting...
If I am dieting for a show I always use 2 animal paks per day. It just makes sure all the bases are covered in terms of the vitamins and mins. I use alot of the same protein and carb sources so I want to make sure I'm still getting the correct amounts of vitamins and minerals that I might miss when on a strict pre-contest diet. It also has bcaa's and digestive enzymes which are a plus. I think its by far Universal's best product.

Animal pak is a good one, but I recommend Source Naturals Life Force. It's one of the few that actually has therapuetic doses of all the vitamins/minerals/herbs. Most multi's like centrum only give 100% of the USRDA which is a joke. The amount of vitamin C in centrum is the minimum that is needed to stave off scurvy!

Berverly International multi-pak and Animnal pak are personal favorites of mine. I can honestly say I do notice a definite difference in overall well being from them.

Is Animal pak better than taking a liquid multi? Does the pak have a good absorption rate or mega or ast for that matter?? I am considering taking Mega man or ast milti 32 on off training days and pak on training days, I am currently trying to loose weight by carbing up and training two days in a row followed by doing keto for the other five days. Does any of the above mentioned multis contain carbs?

i'm surprised nobody has mentioned nutrilite double x. i took a ten day sample, and it improved my sleep, and gave me more energy. I was working 70 hours the week i took them, and only sleeping 5 hours, but i felt more rested than when i got 8 hours of sleep. nutrilite was the first multi-vitamin company ever; they definately know their stuff

i take a normal (80% RDA) multi vit with no added iron/metals, i think this is fine, eating 6 meals a day with plenty of veggies and protein is enough without the multi.

Gotta agree with the Animal Pak posters. I only take them on workout days and although the 11 pills can be annoying to take, it definitely improves the workout.

I usually go to sam's club and buy the member's mark vitamins. They have a very good amount of vits in them, and if you take 2-3 pills instead of one, you get a good bodybuilders or athlets dose.
It's cheap, easy, and reliable. Animal Pak is overpriced and ridiculous. I take ~200 other pills every day, I don't need to take 13 as a ****ing multivitamin.

Multi-vitamin
Centrum Sliver/ I know it's for the old muh****ers, but it's got what you need for weight training as well/ cheaper than anything you'd purchase at GNC too.

I use the best supplement
USANA essentials are by far the best mutivitamin on the market today they are pharmacuetical grade and you can feel the difference if you think your vits are better just ask me and i will tell you how they stack up or down cause theres only one other company thats remotley close. So i will give info on a score of 1-100 and 0-5 stars. Of course using scientific data not opinion.
