I need to lose fat.
17
250 lbs (muscle, but alot of fat)
I do about 30 minutes of running cardio per day.
What should my calorie intake be per day, what should i stay AWAY from totally, and what should I eat. It's good to not eat past about 8pm correct? (I workout after school, I get to the gym about 2pm, run and do situps until about 3:30)
Thanks.
PS- Any other tips and stuff I should have to lose weight? I have lost weight before but gained it back, but now Iam older, and it seems harder for me.

ok you really need some correct info...first off there are 3500 cals in 1 lbs of bodyfat....and since you have not give me a list of what you eat through out the day i can only give you the basics. so in order to loss a lb of fat in a week you have to figure out what your maintance cal intake is and then take 500 cals away from that..however....let me do some calculation so you might understand what your resting metabolic rate is... 66.5 + 13.75(250/2.2)+5.0(72*2.54)-6.8(17)=2427.8 i am assuming you were 6 foot tall and at this weight to just keep your body functioning you need 2427.8 cals. if you start counting cals you will find that you eat alot more than this(make sure and look at serving sizes, they can be deceiving) but if you start eating clean grilled chicken, brown rice, yams, lean beef (90/10 for ground beef) turkey burgers, wheat bread, egg noodles, stop eating fried food if you drink milk switch to skim and as far as exercise go you should do 45-60mins in the morning before you eat of cardio while your insuline level is low and if you do slow cardio this promotes more buring of fat rather than taking it from your glycogen storage....just my 2 cents anyway
