For those of you that have seen Blood and Guts I'm sure you all know about his wild training partner lol.. I found out his name but I haven't got any information on whether he has competed at all, or even any pictures of his physique? In blood and Guts he wore very long sleeved tops, just wondering what his actual physique was like.
Any info greatly appreciated.

NEW PICS OF DORIAN AND TRAINING PARTNER LEROY
1/06/07
Kaged Muscle were proud to recently reunite two of the most hardcore heavyweight sparring partners in history - Dorian Yates and his training partner Leroy Davis. I was honored to have Leroy meet me at Temple gym in Birmingham - the place where he echoed the all too inspirational taunts "Lets get Nasty, business as usual, DRIVE, come on Diesel", etc
It was the first time he and Dorian had met for several years and it was also the first time in five he had set foot in the cold and eerie Temple gym.
Leroy gave Kaged Muscle an in depth behind the scenes interview (to appear in an upcoming isuue of Kaged Muscle) on the making of Dorian Yates, his thoughts on the US muscle scene, other competitors and Jay Cutlers win over Ronnie this year.
With some gentle pursuation and a moutain of questions from you I can get Leroy and Dorian on this board.
Bring it guys!!

Lee competed several times. I only saw him compete on the last occasion, where he won the light heavyweight class at a regional qualifier (Leamington Spa in maybe 1996). He was considered to be the favourite to take the overall title at the British Championships that year (and his pro card), however he did not compete again. Scuttlebutt at Temple goes that Dorian advised him that he was not yet ready to turn pro and this led (in part) to the falling out between the two. Not too long after that he suffered a bad injury playing soccer and stopped training, although he has been back at Temple the last six months and hoisting some heavy weights around.
So far as how he looked at that comp, his conditioning was awesome, although he did drop a fair amount of size to make the weight. I think he should have competed at around 210 that year. In all honesty, I think he would have turned pro, but I don't think that he would ever have made any impact in the pro ranks had he done so, as he didn't have the greatest genetics.
On a personal level, Lee is a great guy, very funny and a real decent type of person.

oi!!!
this is Liam Davis, Leroy's son and i think out of al of you im the only one who knows wot he's ona bout! dad qualified for the british and was going to be the clear winner of the overall. the reason he never did compete in the British was because at the time of the british he was always abroad with dorian for the olympia!! so get your facts right guys!
AND MR SO CALLED IRON MONSTER... I SUGGEST YOU GROW SUM BOLLOCKS AND TRY AND COME DOWN TO TEMPLE GYM AND SHARE YOUR VIEWS WITH DAD FACE TO FACE MATE!!!
dad has started back training now and since he has been training me i hav gone from that 9.5 stone weed in the picture above to a decent solid and lean 13 stone in just 2 years CLEAN!!!
plus anyone feel free to come down the gym anytime and see and speak with dad as he will openly talk and help .
