I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Muscle Milk? Also about how many times a day should I be taking protein and creatine if I'm trying to lose a little weight like 10 to 15 lbs as well as build muscle.
Muscle Milk is the best tasting protein that I've found. You should be gettin 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight. If that means that you need to supplement with shakes then do so however times you need. I take at least 3 shakes a day. Be advised that Muscle Milk is very high in calories, so use it as a meal replacement. It is also a good source of unsaturated fats. If you're just starting out lifting then you should be able to increase muscle and decrease body fat. If you've been working out for a while then it'll be hard and I would recommend you bulk and then cut. Also, if you're new, I'd stay away from the creatine for a little while. If you're going to take it, you only really once a day; post-workout. I like to mix it with my shake and some dextrose or sugar.
I've had them all and my stomach just cant take any of the banana ones any more. I LOVE the mint chocolate chip. The blueberries and cream was actually really good too. I'm liking Mocha Joe, Cookies 'n Cream, Natural Chocolate, and Orange cream these days.
i drink one (choco milk) with creatine about 45mins before i go into lift. And drink another right after with glutamine in it. I mix it in skim milk, and i like to put in a scoop or two of peanut butter before bed. but im not really trying to lose any body at this point. but i think the taste of the product is great. i just started using about a month ago and i love it..
