Not your typical creatine question... (I UTFSE)

hey everyone.

i was at another forum earlier today, a non-bodybuilding forum, and there was a creatine related thread, so of course i stopped in to give my .02

im a big fan of creatine, and its been doing wonders for my training.

well, the majority of the people in the thread had only positive things to say, but one guy had some very negative things to say. im assuming the guy is just being negative to get a reaction, and to annoy the people who support creatine, but just incase, i figured id run this by you guys, since you seem very educated on supplements.

heres the post:

Screw creatine. I knew some avid bodybuilder guy who didn't cycle it (well the IDIOTS that make it don't tell you to cycle it) and his lungs filled with WATER. I will never ever touch that crap for the rest of my life. I was lucky when I did it that I naturally cycled off when I was supposed to. Well thank god or I might have had complications in the emergency room. I can't believe this manufacturers can sell something and the FDA doesn't either ban it(which they should ban almost supplement on the market) or at a minimum have a safety label telling of dangers to the consumer. What an outrage that we have a good medical system for pharmicutical drugs in the US that is regulated then we have this BLACK HOLE where manufactures can sell anything without any respect to a human beings life.

Water in the lungs because of creatine? that sounded a bit farfetched to me, but i figure, its better to be safe than sorry.

Does anybody know of any possible way anything like this could even happen?

I searched the forums and searched google, and couldnt seem to find anything, so i figured id ask you guys.

and I can confirm, no water in the lungs after 16 years of creatine use. hyphotheses complete
