So It was my first time doing my dead lifts
I did 135 10times
And saw it was super easy
So I upped the weight to 185
Did it another 10 times
saw it was easy once again
Upped the wait to 205
Did it 8 times , saw it getting a little harder
and started getting tired
Upped it to 225
Did it 5x
Saw my body slowly get tired but I got 225 pretty good I'd say, clean and nice form
Upped it to 275
I lifted it off the thing since my friend said to put it on the ground
Tried to lift it, felt my back to break so i dropped it.
Waited 1 minute, went all out on it and got it clean, veins popping out everywhere
It was a great time, I love doing deadlifts even for the first time, I'm going to work them into my back work outs now

Then now I'm on my 3rd month and everythings good now
Got a good order
Diets really ****ty still though sometimes, jus like some days I eat real bad when I'm angry besides that its great :P
I jus also started squating too the same day, I did 135 and got my form right went up to 185 and started reppin it 8 times. But my leg had a cramp from the day before and i had dropped a 55 lb'er on my leg so it was bruised. so I couldn't go any higherPersian

You guys remember that big guy with the funny chin hair who was a powerlifter but made the olymic lifting team for the last olympics? He trained the O-lifts with a broomstick for 1 month, then he trained with an empty bar for the next month of learning his new lifts, then he gradually upped the weights. Moral of the story, some of the best guys in the world lift nothing but a broomstick when they are learning a new lift, you should at least spend some time with an empty bar first. REGUARDLESS OF 'GOOD GENETICS.' Just my two cents.

cor man can't wait for tonights workout - 1st time deadlifting. I respond well to everything else so a few compound excercises should really push me up (well, hopefully ).
from what I've heard though mate what you lifted was pretty damn good.Last edited by Unspun_Hero; 10-05-2005 at 05:18 AM.
