Confession: This is not my first use of a GH product. With the previous product, my sleep actually got worse after a few weeks. I posited that the correct dosing would be 2 weeks on with a 1 week break, and repeat.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the CL version didn't 'go bad' after weeks, and as long as I remembered to dose on an empty stomach, remained effective from the first night to the last.

Blue GrowtH promises some great things, but they are tough to see in a month. I think you'd need at least 2 months to really get the effects.
What I did see was an improvement in sleep, and complexion. Better sleep means better recovery: I usually woke up feeling great with less-than-expected DOMS.

Overall rating: 9/10 if used as directed.

NOTE: BG is nearly ineffective if taken with food. Be smarter than I was; take on an empty stomach as directed.

Controlled Labs Greens!

I had seen this product in the CL lineup in the past and didn't get any because in my head I thought the profile sounded gross, and probably tasted like the veggie drink V8 (which I hate). So when I picked up a sample of this product from a local forum bro during a supplement trade, it was time to face the music and try this stuff.

Boy was I wrong.

I took the sample I received in about 6 or 8 ounces of cold water and fell in love. Somehow, in my skimming of the ingredient panel, I missed an important ingredient - spearmint. After the first sip of my sample I thought I was drinking some sort of tea, or green tea, and not a "veggie greens" drink.

The taste is minty, and very enjoyable. There is a slight taste of vegetables, but the majority of the taste is mint based. I find that mixing 1 scoop in a small glass with cold water and a couple ice cubes makes for a tasty morning drink. In fact, I usually drink my daily greens drink first thing in the morning when I take my multi-vitamin and fish oil as a nice start to the day.

The scooper is very small? How small is 5.3 grams? The above picture shows the scooper compared to that of Green Mag and Golden Gains. You get 60 scoops in a tub, which should last 2 months if you use daily.

Greens mixes very well, and almost completely with just a couple swirls of a spoon. There is usually a little bit of residue at the bottom, but if you swirl the water around after each sip it's 99.9% gone by the time you're done.

I wish I would have stocked up and bought 5 tubs during the Black Friday sale, hopefully CL will run a christmas or new years sale so I can pick up some more. Either way, this stuff is fantastic, and will easily become a staple in my supplement cabinet.

If you've been put off by this product because you think the ingredient panel leads to a vegetable tasting drink - think again. I could probably serve this to a guest and call it an "herbal tea" and they wouldn't know the difference.

For a greens product, I was absolutely blown away!!! It tasted sweet and minty. Really refreshing and tastes awesome!


Mixability: 9/10
I added 1 scoop to 4 oz water as per directions and it mixes really well in a shaker bottle. Everything dissolved within a few shakes and not too much residue was left.

Price: 9/10
$25 for 60 servings is a solid price!! Considering anything made by CL is high quality.
For more savings purchase it in a combo with fish oil!


Conclusion: 9.5/10
If you are looking for a green product which you don't have to choke down and have it leave a hole in your wallet. CL oximega greens are the way to go!

Taste - the greens have a nice spearmint flavor. I prefer to mix it with less water and take it like a shot. I then put a little more water in to get the remains and drink that. I am not a huge mint fan but I think I will be able to stick with this as it is flavored pretty well.

Mixability - the greens mix easily in a little bit of water if you stir it with a spoon for 20 seconds or so. It looks like pump sludge but that was pretty much expected and is not a factor.

I really like the fish oil because it does not smell as rotten as my NOW fish oil. It is not a huge deal but still nice. What I like even more is that it only takes one pill and I do not get fish burps from the oximega oil like I sometimes do with my NOW oil.

I think this pack is a good value for a two month supply and I am going to start buying this instead of stuff I don't even need.

Fish oil

Profile: 10/10 - i know i can trust controlled labs for the quality of the fish oil, and i like the fact that its concentrated so i have to take less pills

Smell: 8/10 - pretty fishy with a hint of citrus

Taste: 10/10 - i cant really even taste anything when i swallow it, but i'd rather that than some gross fishy taste

Fish burps: 10/10 - still have never had one

Overall: 10/10 - fair priced and has a great profile




Greens


Profile: 10/10 - looking at some of the ingrediants it seems to me that it is one of the top supplements in its category. Enzymes

Smell: 2/10 - im not gana lie i almost puked the first time i opened it lol

Mxibility: 10/10 - besides a little residue on top, it mixes pretty well.

Taste: initial: 4/10 - Again im not gana lie, i was gagging the first time i tried it. I thought it was pretty bad.

Taste: final: 9/10 - I continued to use it because i dont care that much about taste, but as i drank it more and more, i became acustomed to the taste and really enjoyed it. It has a really nice minty flavor. I was always looking foward to the next time i'd have it again.

Overall: 9/10 - For what you get, its priced very well. There are a couple greens products that cost just as much as the total oximega package. So for getting a greens and a fish oil for that price, its pretty worth it.

Would oximega buy it again? Yes, assuming i can fit it into my budget i would definitly like to buy it again. I dont have the best diet in the world, so those greens and fish oil definitly come in handy.

I mixed in 16 oz. of water. After mixing the color of the water appeared to be a dark green/brown.

I found the taste to be delicious. As noted on the tub of Oximega, the flavor is spearmint and indeed it does taste like spearmint. It tastes good and is actually quite refreshing.

Another product from Controlled Labs that I will continue to use and enjoy

FINALLY, a greens product that I can mix in water and ACTUALLY swallow. I am rating this product on taste because I don't expect to all of sudden bench 500 after a month.

Taste: 9/10

If you use a greens product other than CL Oximega there is a 99% chance it tastes like a sweaty nutsack, rest assured those days of holding your nose and swallowing are over.

Wow, def. the best in cold water tasting greens I have used. The formula ranks up there and the Nitrate Donor complex is ideal for athletes, esp. those with endurance goals such as myself. I do think at least 2 servings is ideal for greatest benefits/dosing, but you get 60 servings in a jug.

I have been fighting a cold bug past few days so I have been using at least 2 servings/day, maybe 4... again, taste is awesome for a greens so not hard in the least to drink even with cold water. I really enjoy drinking it. It would be cool if some of the ingredients were organic, but most greens products are not and maybe that is not a big issue in greens formulas anyways?

I will continue my use of these two products and review here. I haven't been doing much exercise this week with a very busy work schedule along with my cold bug... hopefully I can see some endurance improvements in the coming weeks from the use of these. Besides the nitrates in the greens, I have also seen some studies on fish oil suggesting possible endurance benefits from EPA/DHA as well.

I'm finally getting the desired vascularity i've been aiming to get for so long now, been using glycergrow for 2/3 weeks now and i've noticed veins going through my tris, front forearm and bicep, also the fullness that comes with it is awesome, great product

This product worked very well in combination with Blue Gene. It increased my recovery and seemed to help increase my lifts a bit quicker then normal. The best part of this product was the sleep aid it provided. I normally take quite a bit of melatonin before bed, however with this it helps me sleep better, and the quality of sleep is a lot better as well. I am the kind of person who is woken up by the slightest noise, and usually wake up at least two times per night, however the past two months I can't remember the last time I woke up in the middle of the night. For this product, it was very nice, and would use again - but only if I have the extra cash. The other two I believe to be staple products.

This is one of the few pump products I have taken, and to be honest all of them before this have done nothing out of the ordinary. After taking a full dose of this (as well as increasing my water intake by a bit) I noticed a HUGE difference in the pump i got during workouts. By the time i was finished working out my muscles looked bigger then they ever have pwo. The only downside to this product is its inability to mix in water. Dumping the powder in your mouth isn't too bad, i got used to it after a while, but whenever anyone sees me doing it i can't help but to feel like i look weird as hell. If i have it, yogurt is a good thing to mix this with. For the price per tub on this, it is WELL worth the money.

This product worked very well. I noticed a huge improvement in recovery as well as a very noticeable reduction in joint pain. Endurance was up, and this could easily be used as a pre workout all in itself. I would defenitley buy this product again. The benefits are noticable while taking it, however much more once you stop taking it.

I wasnt quite sure what to expect from this supp but I have to say that I'm happy with it. I'm on a recomp and I feel that it has definitely helped make some positive changes to my body composition. I've been losing a steady .5-1lb per week and maintaining or gaining strength on most of my lifts.

I'd have to say recovery is the best aspect as I have only had a few very minor cases of DOMS while taking it. Even while taking X-Factor, which is known for giving some pretty serious DOMS.

I have used the "Controlled Labs: REDuction AM/PM Formula" to cut weight. The results were that, for ME, there are better products to cut weight. The real kick for ME was in motivation. Maybe I am just lazy, but on the days I woke up not feeling motivated to workout, the 2 Red Tablets of REDuction "AM" made the BIG difference. As for the the 2 black "PM" tablets, they help you sleep soundly, but I never had any problem sleeping anyway, so maybe I did not really need them. The ideal situation for ME would have been to just buy a box of REDuction red "AM" tablets, and not spend money on the black "PM" tablets. For some unknown (to me) reason, Controlled Labs only sells the black "PM" tablets as a separate item. The red "AM" tablets are only available in the "Controlled Labs: REDuction AM/PM Formula" packaged product. So, I see the "REDuction AM SHOT, AM Formula" powder mix, and I think, "Doesn't matter to me if it is a tablet, or a powder mix." Well, it turns out, IT DOES MATTER. The powder is significantly different from the tablets. The powder shot lacks what Controlled Labs, calls "STIMuSLIM™" {PEA (Phenylethylamine Hcl), Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA), Taraxacum Officinale Extract (From Root), Natural Caffeine (200mg), Isobutyryl-Thiamine Disulfide, Cocoa Bean (Extracted For 99% Theobromine), Citrus Auratium Extract (95% Hordenine)}. Instead they substituted cocoa extract in the powder shot, and left out the "STIMuSLIM™" complex. Let me say two more things... "STIMuSLIM™", has some seriously GOOD ingredients in it, so leaving them out of the AM shot (powder mix) was NOT a good idea, and, It REALLY PISSES ME OFF when companies CONFUSE TWO PRODUCTS, by giving them the same or similar names, or imply they are similar, when in fact, they are NOT the same.
I will give the REDuction AM SHOT powder mix, a fair trial, as maybe it is a fine product in it's own right. There is really nothing special in the powder, that is not readily available in other products. The AM tablets are unique, the powder is not unique (my opinion).
KUDOS to BodyBuilding.com for clearly posting the ingredients of each supplement in the right sidebar of the description pages. If I had not been in such a hurry, I would have noticed that the powder AM shot was missing what was in the AM tablets. Then again, once you have in your head what products you like, why waste time re-reading the ingredients each time you order, to make sure you are getting what you have gotten in the past. I guess maybe you MUST read them. There may be differences that was not prominently brought to your attention.
