i noticed that my strength in today's workout was noticeably less since last week's (i trained chest). i cant wait till my cheat meal on saturday night! its my 1st one; i'm thinking of:
large chicken sandwich, 500mL chocolate milk, and something for dessert...probably an ultra king-sized chocolate bar. what do you guys think? what do you guys have for your cheats? i might do 2 sandwiches instead of 1...

Just keep it under 500g carbs I think, you are only have like 1-2 chicken sandwiches, which isn't bad at all. You need to eat alot(until you are full).

I have gained strength while on this diet while cutting body fat.
Just so you eat the eggs, it doesn't matter.Last edited by Ethan Carr; 02-03-2009 at 05:53 AM.

Started this yesterday, and I was actually surprised. I thought I was going to be starving, but other then the one time I had to wait 3 and a half hours eat, I was not hungry at all.
Trained legs last night, and had a so-so squat. I've been setting PR's on squat for like the last 3 weeks, but this week I struggled a little. Then after hamstring curls I was like wow I'm dead tired. Then I smashed my PR on leg extensions and leg press. So I'm going to stick with this. I have a few question though that I couldn't find answer to, and I read close to 50 pages in the thread.
-Is the two week wait period for a cheat meal just for those doing this for competitions, or is that a general rule for anyone following this?
-Can I have the lean protein meal (chicken), with the mixed green salad instead of almonds, or does the mixed green salad have to be with some type of fatty protein? I ask because I'm getting sick of just straight up chicken breast and would like to cut up the 8oz of chicken and put it in the salad.
-Is tuna (180 calories, 1.5g fat, 39g protein) acceptable instead of chicken at the lean protein meal?
Thanks.

I wouldn't bother with Hydroxcut - there's way better stuff out there for les $$$. Caffeine here and there won't cause any devestating elevation to cortisol unless you're freaking out and stressing over the fact you consumed caffeine. There are also some cortisol blocking fat burners, Lean Xtreme for one, that work quite well.

Wow those eggs are real hard to get down.... if i cant find a better tasting way of eating them i might start substituting it for a fatty fish food. I can do this correct?
