    Overworking

Would i be overworking myself if i worked everything twice a week?..i have been working each part one time a week but have hit a dead spot and need something new so i can start gaining again.

    Hows this look:
    Mon-Thurs:Chest/shoulders/tris
    Tues-Fri:Back/Bis/Legs

WOuld that split be overworking or be ok??

depends really. if one day is heavy and they other is light i think thats okay. but if your working till failure twice a week i dont think thats a good idea.

depends on the volume of your workouts. for example, if you do chest 1x week you might do 12 sets of 8-12 reps. but if you do chest 2x a week, you should do 6 sets on chest day A and 6 sets on chest day B.

i am doing a program where you hit each muscle 2x a week. the outline is this...

    day 1: upper body-strength
    day 2: lower body-strength
    off
    day 4: upper body-hypertrophy/speed
    day 5: lower body-hypertrophy/speed
    rest
    rest

Celticfan and young_squatter are doing very similar routine too. You can check out there journals in the workout journal section.
