    Diesel TEST - New Formula, 4 Week Review

    Thanks to Chuck for sending me out 2 X Diesel Test for Review.
    <h4>My Stats:</h4>
    189cm, 24years old, Ecto, 90-91kilos, Training 3 years.
    <h3> Diet </h3>
    I eat 5-6 times a day, every day. My staples are the following:
    Chicken breast, oats, protein shakes, veges, rice, oat bread, soymilk, organic non-homogenised cows milk (I am lactose intolerant), tuna, salmon, fruit, beans, nuts, beef, lamb, flaxseed oil <p>
    I will eat all of the above every week. I dont really eat bread, any processed foods (cept tinned tuna/salmon and milk), not a lot of milk (only on oats). I dont eat refined sugar, however i do sometimes put dex/maltodex into my PWO shake. <p>
    I take MAN Clout Pre workout and later in the day too. I can stop this if needed, it doesn't seem to do a lot for me anyway.<p>
    <h3>Exercise:</h3>
    I ride to work every day, sometimes on full stomach, sometimes not. Probably more often than not on an empty during this log, because of need to have Diesel Test on Empty Stomach.<p>
    <h3>Gym:</h3>
    I have just changed my program to a modified version of the Basic Program in Arnolds Encyclopedia to Modern BodyBuilding. After reading it for like the third time I realised I had a few holes in what I was doing. EG, I wasn't doing deadlifts. I have always had evil lower back problems, which made me shy away from this, but I am starting deadlifts at a light weight now and it seems great. <p>
    So gym is 2day on/1day off.
    Chest/Back, Legs, off, Shoulders/Arms, Chest/back, off, Leg, Shoulders, etc..<p>
    I aim to do this as strictly as possible. I normally train middle of the day whilst at work (work at a uni, so we have a large gym), or afternoon. Btw, its coming into summer here in Australia, so I aint looking to bulk Not really doing a cut either, just trying to eat clean.<p>
    EXCITING NEWS FOR MYSELF!
    As some of you may have read on other forums, I have had some erectile problems after finishing a PCT with Nolva/Activate/ATD. Well, as of last night, that seemed to go away! I came home yesterday, had three tabs of Diesel Test and went about my business. My g/f comes home like two hours later and it was on! And this morning, activity downstairs again! Something in the forumla is working on me! Frankly, its awesome. Will be good to see how I go in the gym.<p>
    Other Exercise:
    I also go dancing on the weekends. Walking for about 1-2 hours also. I work in an Office so pretty sedate during the day.
    Other Supps etc:
    Currently finishing off a course of Antibiotics for a sinus infection, but I'm not what you would call "ill", this will be done in a few days and doesnt seem to effect me. I also take Beta glucan daily, and a multi. And I drink atleast 3L of water and about 1-1.5L at the gym.
    I have high BP, which i take Avapro for (irbestan). No biggie.

    <h3> Blood Test Results</h3>
    I believe ALT/AST are liver values, as you can see mine are still elevated, but not too bad.
    ALT 55 (0-45)
    AST 46 (0-41)
    LD 186 (80-250)

    I thought these looked good though, considering a I eat diet high in meat products (fish/beef/lamb/chicken/kangaroo/goat/quail/prawns etc)
    Cholesterol 3.5 (3.1-6.5)
    Triglycerides 0.6 (0.3-4.0)

    Day 1 - Legs

    Diesel Test Dosage : 5 a day (2am, 2midday, 1arvo).
    Weight: 91.2kilos

    Today was Legs: My poundages aren't super high, as I have just started a new routine and havent done all of these exercises before (front squats and lunges, and it shows). I am keeping reps high at first so I can concentrate on form.

    Gym - Legs (All metric)
    Front Squats: 20X20, 50X12, 65X10, 65X8, 60X12
    Lunges: 20X10, 20X10, 20X12
    Hamstring Curls: 64X12, 74X10, 74X10
    Standing Calf: Got some pain on this one so stopped today, I have a big weekend of dancing and these normally cramp up, so best to leave em for today.
    Abs: 2minute pushup hold with abs tensed.


    Notes:
    Not a huge workout, didnt have time and lack of sleep kinda killed me a bit. But motivation was there and strength was there. I went up 5 kilos on the Front Squats. Any front squat experts out there - how do you stop the bar from choking you? Going to be a biggish problem when I go up weight.

    post those test results you just had done that was on that other thread so they are over here when you get you blood work done again which should be about 22 days from now (5 a day is like a 24 day supply), not 4 weeks bc you are on 5 a day.

    No at 4 a day it is a 30 day supply, I said any tester that agreed to get blood workout done would get 2 bottles, I just sent you the 2nd one upfront because shipping to Austrila (sp?) is expensive.

    Can you post your blood work that you recently got.

    Ok. Well, i am happy to run at 5 a day for whatever time you would prefer, if thats means using both bottles, thats fine, whatever you prefer.

    Day 2 - Chest/Back

    Morning Cardio on an empty stomach is killing me. Think I will get back to brekky first then cardio (riding).

    Gym: (Metric)
    Flat Bench: BarX24, 40X12, 60X10, 80X6, 80X4, 70X11
    Incline Smith: 57.5X10, 57.5X8, 52.5X10
    Dips: bodyweightX10, bwX11, bwX11
    Deadlifts: BarX20, 30X12, 40X10, 60X10, 60X12
    Chins (assisted): 44X12, 32X10, 32X8
    Bent over rows Dbell: 22.5X10, 22.5X9, 20X9
    Abs: Heel taps and crunches.

    Focus at start was terrible, but got much better near end of session. Went up significant weight on Deadlifts, not going to rush it though, must concentrate on form. Chins still sucks, I have such a narrow build I blame it on that, but really, i Just need to work on it more.

    Mentally, maybe a touch more focused generally, hard to say as yet.

    Hopefully we can get that free test over 100-140 pmol/L when you are done. That range of up to 130 is low, how old are you? Oh I see 24. It weird how every lab has their own range of free testosterone that is used as a reference.

    You are suppose to start 2 am, 1 mid-day for 5 days, but since you are allready on 2/1/1, just go ahead and do 2/1/1 till day 5 then 2/2/1 after that.

    edit, you actually dove right into 2/2/1 so just roll with that for 30 days then test blood levels between day 28 and day 31.

    Take a scoop of whey isolate in water first thing am then do morning cardio. You are actually promoting a longer period of a neg. nitrogen balance by not taking in protein before am cadio or weights.

    Well the first lot sold really fast so I made changes with this one. Some of the ingredients I increased 3 fold to synergistically make the product hit faster in those with low test levels and libido (like 3-5 days). Also between day 10 and 20 there should be better gains in strength than the DT012005 formula. All retailers are selling the new formula everyone is testing now. Its not like 4 of the new ones are like 6 of the old ones or anything like that, I just wanted a better product for strength and libido, and response to stimulation.

    Day 3 - Off

    Morning cardio this morning, 50minute walk to work.
    Libido is up. Looking forward to some one on one time with my g/f when she gets her head outta the books for a few minutes.

    Appetite is definately up.

    Biceps felt bloody weak today. Lat raise had better form. Mill Press felt good. Endurance is up.

    <h3>Libido:</h3>
    UP. Very much Up. Its been great with the girlfriend. I had some serious issues with this like 5 days ago (reported on am board) after a pct with nolva/atd/fenugreek. Thats ancient history now. And I attribute that to Diesel Test. I'm 24, so I am still pretty much in my prime in regards to libido, but DT has brought be back to 18-19 year old levels.

    I have been flirting with girls more at work, all sorts of fun.

    <h3> Other </h3>

    Urine smells a bit different. Mentally more alert and focused. And I would say "happier" for lack of a better word. More, content. Sleep is good. Smell is the same. Not really any more agressive. Looking forward to some results in the gym today, will let you know how that goes.

    Day 8

    Well a lot of the weekend was spent on cardio, no gym the last four days, havent had a chance.

    Endurance is UP! on this stuff. I seem to be able to cycle/run longer than normal. Mental alterness is up also. Maybe a slight change in body odor, but this could be placebo.

    Sleep etc is same. No bad sides to report at all.

    Day 9 Chest/back

    Weight : 90 kilos (down 1) - expected after hours and hours of cardio on weekend, perhaps too much, feeling the burn all over today

    Gym: Chest/back (metric)
    Freaking no energy today, not enough rest last night, but I did the best i could.
    Flat Bench: warmup, 60X10, 80X4, 80X8, 80X5 (spotter)
    Incline Bench: 60X8, 57.5X9, 57.5X6 (Up weight)
    Dips: bodyweightX10, bodyweight+12.5X6 + bwX4, bwX6

    Abs

    Yeah, Deadlifts went up, and it killed me. My back is sore, but I dont think damaged. I have a nasty lowerback issue, but, I am hoping deadlifts will help make it strong. Awesome to go up some weight.

    Need large sleep tonite, will give training a miss tomorrow, just do some light cardio, and train again Friday. Best to get enough sleep so training doesnt suffer.

    Day 10 - Off

    Got a bit of a sore throat and feeling a little hot, feels like a cold coming on. Giving training a miss today, hitting some vitamins and not going too hard. Got 11 hours sleep last night, will try for atleast 9 tonite, seems like the best remedy.

    Day 11 - Shoulders/Bi/Tri

    Weight : 91.5

    Gym:
    Worked out with a mate, just showing him the ropes. Did about the same amount of weight as last gym session, maybe a few more reps on Mil Press. This is actually pretty impressive considering I am still feeling under the weather.

    Libido: CRAZY. ****n crazy., Sex last night with G/f. Like 30 mins later I am like lets do it again.

    Sleep : Awesome.

    Acne: GOt some nasty acne, to be expected with me though. ATD gives it to me, trib gives it to me, Test gives it to me, and its coming into summer here now, so that does it too. No biggie.

    Mental Focus: Better. Still not doign enough of my Uni, but focused.

    I like this stuff. Might try 6 caps a day in a week, see if Chuck thinks I should.

    Day 14 - Legs

    Weekend I missed gym . Still managed cardio on both days and some serious tanning at the beach. Its half way through the Diesel Test test right now and I'm feeling GOOD. Cold is nearly all gone, so I am expecting weights to go up soonish, so long as it doesn't return.

    Weight : 91.5 and I ate like a complete horse on the weekend, where talkin 5,000-6,000 cals easy. being an ecto is great at times.

    Gym: Legs
    Front Squats: warmup, 40X12, 60X12, 70X8, 70X8, 60X6 (Up 5kilos)
    Lunges: 20X10, 20X12, 20X12 (Up reps)
    Hamstring Curl: 64X12, 74X8, 74X6
    Stand Calf Raise: 80X15, 120X10, 120X10, 120X9
    Kunfu Ab hold : 2mins.

    **** I hate leg day and it shows. Still, awesome to go up weight.

    Sides: Libido is still up. This is decent. Strength is creeping up now, guess it took a while for it to happen for me. Mental attitude, I guess you could call it, is great, a general feeling of happiness. Will try two days off this week, as per chucks suggestion, and see what diff that makes.
    Acne has subsided a bit after a beach visit.
    Lunges kill me, any hints people?

    I normally take avapro (irbestan) for blood pressure, but I dont like to (hate the thought of being on meds every day just to be 'normal' especially at 24).
    Anyway, i have a pretty good idea of when my blood pressure is "high", "normal" and "low".. low still being in the range of you needing meds. I can't be conclusive on this, but I think Diesel Test is having a lowering effect on my blood pressure. I haven't been taking my meds since I started on this stuff, and I feel pretty "normal", when normally, I would notice that by BP is up. I will try and get some confirmation on this with monitor during week. I welcome anything that can lower my BP. Freakn Drs' (western) have no idea what it is.

    Do squats, then calves, then hams, then abs then lunges last.

    Lunges will always kill you right after squats.

    One last one, as a tall skinny guy, whats your recommened bench grip width? I normally go real wide so my arms are parallel with the walls (straight up and down), but I'm thinking less wide might be better?

    Tall skinny guys trying to increase their bench is a book I should write. Unfortunately the bench just isnít for tall skinny guys (deadlifts are). Usually tall and skinny = more power and results from incline dumbbells.......but you should go about as wide as your index finger on the line. I go pinky finger on the line (palm inside the line) but I am 5'8". I use to train a guy at about 6'4" and I had to have him go index finder on the line to get any power out the bottom. Tall guys on the bench usually canít produce that power out the bottom on flat bench but they can kill incline dumbbells.

    Yeah ya right. I can keep up with my bigger mates on incline D-bell, but they smash me with their two plates a side benches . So keep a wide grip you reckon? Index finger on the line eh, thats pretty wide, bit wider than I do now, will give that a shot today - thanks. I dropped Incline Dbell, thinking I should concentrate on flat, given its a real weak spot.

    Update: Today I am not taking any Diesel Test (same tomorrow) as per new guidlines on usage. Feeling about the same. I am mentally addicted to the stuff though, I REALLY like what it does for me, and so do the girls, a lot.

    Day 15 - Chest/Back

    Flat Bench : warmup, 60X10, 80X8, 80X6, 80X6 (last 2-3 assisted)(up reps)
    Incline Bench: 52.5X10, 64.5X8, 58X6
    Dips: +12.5X10, +12.5X6 (plus 3 bw), bwX9 (Up weight)
    Chins: 32X10, 32X8
    Deadlifts: 40X20, 60X12, 80X10, 80X12 (Up reps)
    Two arm row Dbell: 25X8, 22.5X8, 22.5X6 - bad form
    Abs: Heel taps X 90, crunchesX60

    Feeling good! Tried Chucks wider grip on bench, felt a bit weird. Still, I think i could feel it in the chest more with the really wide grip, so I am going to stick with it for a few weeks. Helped having a mate there to get last few reps out.
    Back is feeling strong, will try for 100kg on Deadlifts next time!
    And... I ripped my pants doing deadlifts (no underwear) so had to wear a towel around the gym for rest of session. Lucky its a uni gym, so that didnt really stand out

    Day 16 - Cardio

    This was another "off" day of Diesel Test.

    I can honestly say my libido was slightly lowered on this off day, but not to a great extent.

    I managed about 45mins cardio, and felt great. It seems to have a lasting effect this stuff. I didn't notice a "crash" or anything like that.

    Back on the Diesel today, hopefully gym will be smashing.

    Day 17 - Shoulders/Bi/Tri

    I noticed getting back on the Diesel Test today. Mental Focus was there after about 2 hours of first dose. Second 2 tab dose about 3 hours before gym. Gym was great≤ really long session, had to pull myself out of there at 1.5hours, as I think Mr. Cortisol was rearing his ugly head.

    Hanging Leg raises - 30

    AWESOME workout.. reminded me a bit of Ergomax workouts.. focues, strength was there, smashed it. Please can every workout be this good, with Reps/weight going up!

    Day 19 Cardio

    Managed some morning walking/running for about an hour today.
    Took my dose of Diesel Test about 20 minutes before the run, then 4 servings of Xtend just before heading out - hope this wont spoil the digestion of Diesel Test?

    About 30minutes into the cardio I felt "something". I dunno if it was waking up, Diesel Test or a combination of both, but it felt good. Had a fantastic jog.

    Doing Chest/Back tomorrow. Going to change my chest routine up to look like this
    Incline Dbell
    Flat Flyes
    Chest Dips

    Taking Chucks advice on skinny guys getting better results from Incline. I've never considered dropping flat bench totally, maybe its a mental thing, I just thought it should be a stable in all bb routines, however that may be misguided.
