I need some help locating an article on ephedra being safe to use as a dietary supplement. The only catch is that it can't be from a scientific study or a journal of medicine. It has to have come from either a magazine (ie: Time, Newsweek, etc.) or a Newspaper. I tried google and numerous other search outlets, but no luck so far. All I can come up with in regards to positive findings come from journals, not magazines or papers. It seems they only tend to publish the negative side (yeah, big suprise!) Anyway if anyone (PU, Mcwtrainer???) knows of a positive magazine or newpaper article published on ephedra, I would greatly appreciate it.
If you are wondering why it must be from one of those two specific news outlets, it is b/c it's for a marketing class I'm taking and the professor specified it.

A lot of universities have subscriptions to databases like EbscoHost and LexisNexis. Check your school's library's website to see if yours does and, if so, how to access it.
I'm amused that your professor has restricted you to nonscientific, nonscholarly sources (although I guess it would make sense for journalism or some social sciences). You'll inevitably get a heavy dose of sensationalism with little or no science in mainstream media reporting on ephedra/ine.

Well, he said he wants it from one of those sources b/c they try to be influential in their position on the subject since it's a marketing class. I've found plenty against it in magazines and papers, it's just hard to find someone who is actually published that was for it in a magazine.
Finally found one though, over at FLEX in their archives. Thanks for the idea though.
