    Question How safe is Supersetting?

I just started supersetting my workout this week, and let me just say that the pump I'm getting is AMAZING. On my chest/back day, for example, I do three exercises for chest and three for back. So all I did was superset a chest exercise with a back exercise. Doing those 6 exercises seperately normally took about 45 minutes. But with supersetting this workout, it's only taking me about 30 minutes. Is this safe for my body, to be squeezing a 45 minute workout into 30 minutes?

It's fine. It's a good way to push through some plateu's. It's great when you're strapped for time but are dedicated to lifting.
I usually do it with arms, Bi's and Tri's. You feel great leaving the gym with your arms swollen up.

    Thumbs up Supahs

I like them for arms. Lets me maximize my time. In regards to safety I don't think there are any issues other than the usual things to be mindful of when lifting heavy objects.

the only reason i don't do them much, is because i can't go as heavy as i would like to.

although they work well for a lot of isolation exercises.

exactly, you can't go as heavy. i can't think of any modern bodybuilders using super sets. plus, working one muscle and resting allows me to concentrate on it more.
