Just to add some things I didn't see on the list.

Kale & Spinach---(I use these as a lettuce replacement for sandwiches/salads. Cook them into pasta sauces)
Asparagus----These are delicious on there own
    Lemons
    Bell peppers, all colors
    Talapia
Turkey (lean ground turkey can be used for burgers, meat loaf, etc...)
    Tomatoes
    Onions
    Olives
Tofu ( a lot of people might be against this idea)
expresso/cuban cofee (other than its common reason, it increases brain activity)
    ------------------------
Some seasonings to give flavor to food
    ---------------------------------
    Garlic
    Pepper
    Basil
    Ginger

I'd like to see more ideas of things people buy to add flavor to their foods since most of the foods seem to be the same things over and over.
Be miserable, or motivate yourself. It's on you, NO EXCUSES!

I'll give this another year long bump as I'm making my own grocery list

What I have so far. (I'm not doing the shopping lulz. Thats why there are notes)

Frozen veggie mixes (Peppers, onions, etc. NO MUSHROOMS.)
Frozen fruit mixes (Orange colored stuff is the best.)
    Non-ground beef(Don’t care what cut)
Ground beef(the leanest available.) OR ground turkey
    Eggs
Non fat greek yogurt (vanilla, or plain)
Bolthouse smoothie mixes (Orange ones are the best.) if you see any “protein plus” get that
Atleast 4 2 liters of sprite zero
Pineapple juice (Canned pineapples okay If they are cheaper.)
    Milk
Tortillas (The high fiber ones if possible)
