i love that seated machine great movement but im gonna have to go back to dumbells.. its too hard to load her up, i had room even at 100kg too!

    350kg x 15
    440kg x 7
    490kg x 4

    120kg x 12
    150kg x 6
    170kg x 2
    140kg x 11
^ devo.. 140 last set was nasty.

    V-squat
    100kg x 15>6 (r/p)
    150kg x 15
    150kg x 10>5 (r/p)
    ^ disgustingly hard sets.

    131kg x 8
    136kg x 6 > 91kg x 8 (dropset)

    Standing single leg curl
    11.25kg x 15
    13kg x 12
    16kg x 10
    18kg x 8

    Seated calf raise
    50kg x 21
    100kg x 12
    115kg x 7
    100kg x 8

    Cardio ellip 7 mins

    -----------------------------
Muuuch better leg session than last time... i really prefer squats being done second, following the pressing is such a great combo.
Had heaps more intensity than last time which is something i needed to improve on leg days. 500 on leg press next time for sure, light weight!
    Probably Off tomorrow, chest/tris next.

holy crap. man, you've absolutely demolished that press. DEMOLISHED. i am far far far behind now. and what impresses me most is the squat after. LOL. let's see 20 reps at 140 mate

i know what you mean in terms of pressing first prior to squat tho; sometimes it just feels like you're more flexible and switched on. keep this **** right up. post up a pic or two of the legs!

ta mate, u cant compare leg presses id say ascots would be harder as the sled would weight more, i think this one is more inclined though, who knows! squats did feel really good after it.. i prefer that order for sure.

    95kg x 15
    130kg x 10
    155kg x 6
    170kg x 3

^ PR! nice pump and wrecked already
(ah **** vid cut out early) Form on the 170 set was crude as you will see but i like doing them how i do it, i get a great blasting exactly where i try to target (traps/upper back)

    rack deads
    115kg x 10
    150kg x 10
^ about half way at the shin depth. belt on the second set, felt real good.

    DB row
    60kg x 15
    80kg x 8
    90kg x 4

^ Vid with the 80kg, my towering dumbell with 20kg plates on it looks retarded and limits rom but my its the only way i can load it up that heavy.

    Single arm db preacher curl
    12.5kg x 10
    12.5kg x 10
    12.5kg x 10
    12.5kg x 21
    12.5kg x 15
^ first 3 sets very slow, dunno why, i dont feel much when i do slow reps on anything.. then blasted the last sets, didnt go too heavy as my forearm is a little sore, ill let it rest.

    ----------------------------------
First time working out at home for a lonnng time so i thought id get some vids..

Hey mate, sorry I haven't been in here for a while. Busy the last few.

You were telling me my rows were high? They look the same haha.

No offense, but can you even feel the lats getting hit on those DB rows? It looks just like you are jerking it up with no control? I dunno, but if it is working - GREAT!

    170kg decline conquered!!!!!

You've had forearm trouble before haven't you?

i cant remember your form but i think what i was criticizing was how you "thigh row" ie almost slide on your thighs and row low to your waist.. not that its bad its just different to how i do it, i tend to pull more upright as i do rows to hit my upper back. That vid wasnt my best tho, ill get another one up one day.
Regarding the db rows, mate you gotta go hard and heavy to build size and im all about maximum overload.. i used some body sure but in the end its your lats that are pulling it up and down, my rear delts and lats were toasted and sore for 2 days after those.
180 is next on decline and yeah i got permanent problems with tendonitis in my left but this is my right, just a little sore tendon itll pass.

tendonitis ive had it for years.. prob before i even lifted... worst thing to make it bad is bar curls so i avoid them, but i feel it occasionally on other things too.

    Seated calf raise

    -----------------------------------------
Real nice session, leg press and vsquat combo i would say works better for me than squats, just zapped. Awesome pump after everything.. i really need to focus on single leg calf work, individually they are really weak, i can barely add weight, yet combine i can rip out the whole stack with raises.. strange, could be where a growth bottleneck lies, dont i wish
    off tomorrow, shoulders next.

    80kg x 12
    120kg x 7
    135kg x 4

    Standing db lateral raise

    80kg x 10
    90kg x 8
    95kg x 5
^ i own this machine.. even second i nearly hit my pr weight from fresh last time... i dunno how i can make it 100kg plus (adding weight on it) but i will find a way.. it works too well not to use.

Bent over db lateral raise (on bench)
    15kg x 15
    17.5kg x 11
    20kg x 7

    Reverse cable flyes - fcables

    60kg x 21

    Single leg calf raise standing
    Ab work
    Cardio 7mins
    -------------------------------------
Went realll easy on the pressing as im doing chest tomorrow, laterals i went heavy as i can, went real well, feel smashed. I sorta feel like i could/should have done more sets but currently im trying to steer away from high volume and pump out the full heavy stuff for obviously lower reps.

well the front head work was more for strength than total muscle overload, should hardly make a difference for benching, and i dont think it did!

    90kg x 10
    100kg x 7
    105kg x 3

    Decline h/s bench press seated
    100kg x 16
    130kg x 10
    150kg x 7
^ heavvy.. i should use the "seat belt" because im losing energy trying to hold myself in place.. really like this machine now.

    Seated bench press machine
    109kg x 15
    133kg x 10
    138kg x 7
^ smashed it.. need a way to load up more weight, will need a plate on both sides of the stack or something.

    Cable flyes - fcables
    18kg x 15
    23kg x 10
    26kg x 7
    18kg x 15

    -----------------------------
worked out with a mate today and had a spot, still not adapt to making the most of it.. i just give up when i know im done when i should be making use of the forced reps!
Flat started off weak but my following lifts got going real well, slow start i guess, but i feel wrecked so it was a good workout.
Brownlow tomorrow so ill either do a quick back sesh or just have a night off, see how i feel.
